AJ kills Tony, Carmela takes over the family to protect her son. It has to end like Hamlet, either with poisoned food or wine. Meadow becomes mom's new right hand and Janice becomes a 'Paulie' character. Carmela turns to Melfi for guidance....lol

These are all too much. Tony will kill Phil and life will go on. The show will end with a whimper, not a bang (not necessarily a bad thing). If its too dramatic, it wouldn't fit with the rest of the show.

I agree completely with khamel. The show is more about the Soprano family than the mob. This also keeps the door open for movies (theatrical?), mini-series, spin-offs, etc.

The poll is asking how you'd *like it* to end, not how you *think it will* end. So if you don't want it to go out with a wimper, how would you like to see it go out?

How could you write the poll without including "Tony kills Phil" as an option?

If that guy makes it to Monday morning alive, I'll personally finance a short film in which I hire Frank Vincent to play Phil Leotardo getting killed. I'll get Greg Antonacci too -- Butch has to, has to, HAS TO go, and not quickly or easily.

*Whew!* I guess I need to watch more peaceful programming.

I want Tony to wake up in bed next to Suzanne Pleshette and say, "I just had had the strangest dream. I just dreamt that I was married to a beautiful blonde and I was the head of a New Jersey mob family and we owned a strip club that was going to be turned into a golf club."

I really want this to go down like a pro wrestling storyline - Paulie is actually working both sides and is lined up to whack Tony... *however*, he has a change of heart at the last minute and tells Tony of the double-cross.

Then Paulie arranges to meet Phil in secret to pretend as if he had killed Tony. Tony jumps out of the back of the car, nails Phil & Bug Eyes, then goes into witness protection leaving Paulie in charge of any scraps left in the Jersey family...

Perhaps Carmela and Meadow get killed, sending Tony on such a rampage that he is careless and gets arrested. It ends in the courtroom as prosecution calls its key witness: Adrianna.

Death on both sides amongst middle management causing T to call Furio back. Furio helps T take care of everything and turns himself in, leaving Furio in charge much to Paulie's displeasure.

Michael Caffee shows up at Tonys with a can of gasoline, shoots him in the knees, says "Time's up" and sets the house on fire. The Sopranos end, and everyone goes on to watch "Brotherhood" on Showtime ;)


But most probably it'll end very unspectacular, and Tony has a heart attack and dies in his sleep...

The "Meadow gets killed in Tony's car" rumor has been ALL over the Net, I wouldn't be surprised if Chase changed the finale. I think it's too "Godfather III" if you ask me...I would like to think Chase could be a little more original that combining that movie's ending (daughter is killed) with GoodFellas' ending (mob guy goes into witness protection) - which is the other big rumor circulating (Meadow dies, AJ kills Phil, AJ may or may not get killed, remaining Sopranos go into witness protection).

Tony gets shot and they show him getting buried in Giants Stadium. The last line? "Jimmy, say hello to Tony. Tony, this is Jimmy"

i wanted tony to die, but after the last few weeks killing spree it would seem too uneventful, like it's just another death. the writers have ruined the chance for tony's glorious death, so now he has to kill phil.

but i voted for janice kills tony, because that would be cool too

I belive Tony will kill Phil, and someother of the NewYork crew. He will think its all over go home eat a big bowl of pasta. Then the FBI will bust in and arest him for the atempted murder of Chris who he tried to kill but was saved and went into witness protection.

AJ has been acting very upset when around any violence, so that seems to be a clue that either he'll get hit or he'll have to react violently. Not sure whether Tony will die a lonely existential death by himself OR have to carry on alone without any living family members -- not counting Janice, of course. I also think NY will try a hit on Uncle Junior to smoke out Jersey, since we just heard he's being moved.

There's been WAY too much foreshadowing. Melfi, responding to Tony's comment that suicide is for cowards " Who ever said that probably didn't understand depression, but YOU do". And Tony telling Carm last week that they "don't harm the 'families''. Unsure about Meadow. Did anyone else see the early season preview that showed here walking down an aisle-theater type- VERY pregnant? Because of the current WAR,I don't see a happy ending. Another foreshadowing I noticed. Phil talked about using "whoever is left", could this be Paulie? What is an aging mobster to do without a crew? I HATE that this show is ending, NOTHING compares, but I have no doubt Chase and co. will make it eventful.
