The gossip columnists like to portray Lindsay Lohan's mom as being an opportunistic bitch, and she evidently isn't doing anything to dispel that notion. Now that her young daughter is in rehab for Oxycontin abuse, Dina Lohan is reportedly pushing hard for her own reality show on E!It's called Mom-ager, and it's supposed to be about Dina's efforts to propel her other two children, 14-year old Ali and 11-year old Cody, to stardom just like their older sister. Their older sister is doing a bang-up job with her stardom, by the way, since she is on the cover of People magazine this week with the headline, "What Happened to Lindsay Lohan".
Sounds like a responsible mom. Hopefully even E! doesn't stoop this low. It's okay to watch adults self-destruct because they have a choice in the matter, but giving this woman a camera crew to watch her destroy her children is really, really wrong.

Amen. In fact, I'll stop watching on E! if this really happens. Enough is enough. Those poor children.

I want the whole family to be wiped out, you don't always get what you want.

But let's face facts:
1. "Reality" TV sells, and is cheap to produce.
2. Ana Nicole did really well for E!
3. The Lohan's represent a family full of potential Ana Nicole's; 1 in decline, 1 in full bloom self destruction, and two spares to screw up. That's called longevity people!
If reality shows about people pretending to be pirates can get made, this will be done. And America, for all the bellyaching, watches this, and Survivor, and Idol, and decades worth of The Real World. This is our modern equivalent of gladiatorial games.

I don't know what Lindsay Lohan, herself would think of
her mother and kids getting their own reality TV show,
but I can tell you what I think of it. Lindsay Lohan isn't
really all there, yet, and now her mother wants to be
in the spotlight? Well, if this was the one thing that would
be able to turn Lindsay's life around after her seeing the
footage of her mother's life with the kids, that would be
one thing. However, what if Lindsay Lohan should end up
not exactly like Anna Nicole Smith, but close to her death
during the filming of Dina Lohan's reality show? In that
case, I don't think I can take much more of this Lindsay
Lohan soap opera that has already transpired, even
before Dina Lohan's Reality TV series begins.
