Well, whatever, the main site for the upcoming Robot Chicken tribute to all things Star Wars has been updated with a bunch of kick ass new production stills (including images from the upcoming special as well as older images from past Robot Chicken parodies), a brand new trailer, and a hilarious therapist session featuring the man himself, George Lucas. He even talks about that dreaded Star Wars Holiday Special. Talk about opening up old wounds.
I'll admit I didn't dig Robot Chicken at first, but the show has grown on me, and a Star Wars tribute, well that's more than the virginal fantasy-lovin' youth in me could ask for.
Also, you can get yourself a cool Stoopid Monkey (Robot Chicken's production company) Star Wars t-shirt. Buy ten and give them to a homeless person so he build a sail and try to find work on an ocean liner. That's what I'd do.
The half-hour special airs on Cartoon Network on June 17 at 10:00 p.m. I've placed the original trailer below. Enjoy.

That's Seth McFarlane doing the voice for the Emperor.
So anybody tell me that it's pure coincidence that Family Guy Season 5 starts with a Star Wars episode too. Obviously Seth Green and Seth are helping each other out :-)
