duh i don't know what people would watch WWE. They must be people who are way below you and your high society type.
It's just another form of entertainment, it may not be for you but there are millions of fans across the world who are fans. Get over yourself johnny!

I used to watch WWE/F a loong time ago...I absolutely hate it now! But young males from the ages of 13-2x are still a big demographic and they enjoy it (I fall under that demographic too).
The Sopranos is still #1, but it has lost more than 40% of its audience from its peak (~12 million viewers).

I was shocked to find out that my friends watch wrestling still, I remember when everyone with me in middle school watched it but then it just phased out with them. But apparently it still reaches out to the masses even my friends too. Hahah.
