Here are AOL Television's top picks for the week.Heroes (Mon., 9PM ET, NBC) 1st season finale
A drama about heroes needs one super ending; this one goes "boom." All the characters, who started the year spread out across the world, come together in New York City to try to stop Sylar from wreaking nuclear havoc. Is anyone else geeking out over a possible X-Men-style showdown between the good guys and the villain? And no doubt this season will end with a cliffhanger that'll keep us drooling until fall.
Dancing With the Stars (Tue., 9PM ET, ABC) 4th season finale
It's no surprise that two of the final three contestants are athletes. You really need stamina and strength to get through so many weeks of waltzing, jiving and cha-cha-cha-ing. My pick to win, though, has to be Apolo Ohno. Who knew an Olympic speed skater would be such a passionate dancer? His performances always exhibit flair and youth. He and his cute-as-a-button partner Julianne Hough should sail away with the trophy.American Idol (Wed., 8PM ET, Fox) 6th season finale
While we all know Jordin's got more talent, Blake's got those dang BlakerGirls jamming the phone lines. And though winning is for losers, and we know that Blake, Jordin, Melinda and LaKisha will release albums before the end of '08 regardless of who wins, it's still cool to share the big reveal with 40 million other people. Plus, you don't want to miss the major recording artists (to be announced) who'll take the stage.
So You Think You Can Dance (Thu., 8PM ET, Fox) 3rd season premiere
The summer sleeper hit returns! Dance really blew up last year when Benji was crowned America's favorite dancer. And while Dancing With the Stars and J.Lo's Dancelife gave us some moves to tide us over, this is the only dance competition that really matters. Indulge in the hilarious audition episodes (Spills! Thrills! Chills!) but stick with until the competition really gets going. It's the toned, young, hot competitors, hot choreography and hip music that sets this show apart.
National Bingo Night (Fri., 9PM ET, ABC)
Bingo should be played in some seedy, back-road lodge alongside a bunch of blue-haired, chain-smoking grannies. But Hollywood loves making what's old new again, and so here comes a glitzy, high-tech version of the game. I still don't quite understand the rules (something about guessing higher or lower?), but then again, I still don't get Deal or No Deal -- and see where that game show's gone.
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (Sun., 9PM ET, HBO)
Big, sweeping, made-for-television movies are a dying breed these days, it's difficult not to enjoy the few that come around. Last year's Elizabeth I with Helen Mirren gobbled up all awards and honors in its path; with a sterling cast including Adam Beach, Anna Paquin and Aidan Quinn, I have a feeling the same might hold true for Bury My Heart. The story traces the path of the Lakota from Custer's defeat at Little Big Horn to the tribe's massacre at Wounded Knee Creek.

Yeah, Bingo Night may not make it until Friday. The first episode barely registered in the ratings.

Bingo? This is what the networks think we want to watch?
I think I'll stick to stuff I have saved on the DVR or DVDs. And the Studio 60 episodes NBC is now airing.

Heroes season finale instead of 24 two-hour finale?
Dancing with the Stars instead of The Shield?
American Idol instead of the two hour season finale of Lost?
Bingo instead of one of the best episodes of Stargate Atlantis ever made?
Seriously, that is truly dreadful list.

On So You Think You Can Dance, it was Travis that won, not Benji.
