(S11E13) Ahhh... I really was rooting for the Beauty Queens! I think they were really, really bummed about coming in very close second. I wanted to cry with them. I'm not sure what my problem is with Eric & Danielle. I just felt like they didn't have a whole lot of personality, unlike the other teams in the top three. I feel like they pout a lot.
[Charla & Mirna #3] It was great to see Charla excel at a challenge, wasn't it? She's usually at a pretty serious disadvantage bcause of her height, but the girl has an incredible sense of balance and was able to stand up on a surf board and paddle to the clue during the Detour. Unfortunately, the kayaking challenge was so hard that it put them behind all the other teams.
[Eric & Danielle WINNERS!] These two totally rocked the kayaking challenge to get their clue at Shipwreck Beach on Lanai. I was surprised to see them work so well as a team. And they were actually on the same page during the challenge at the U.S. Mint! These two were finally on their game during the few hours that they needed to be.
[Dustin & Kandice #2] These two finally had their first tiff and it really wasn't that big of a deal. Dustin was in a panic to win the $1 million and she wasn't thinking clearly when she jumped out of the kayak and tried to walk through the water rather than paddle. Of course that's not going to be faster!
I really wasn't all that impressed with this All-Stars season. I think part of it was that the teams had already raced before so they knew all the little tricks and how to play. Plus, the challenges were super lame! A lot of them were super simple (like jumping off the tower in Macau). I'm giving this episode, and this entire season a 5. Hopefully fall will bring fresh faces and a little more creativity in the locations and the challenges.

Gawd it was on TV last night if there IS something you have not seen yet on TV for all that is good and pure don't visit a website with TV-Spoilers. Man. You could at least TRY to avoid getting spoilered.

I thought it was a good season. Alot of what we think of the teams is editing, so I liked Eric and Daniellle even if they came across as babies. I just wish Rob and Amber had finished in the top three, they have great TV presents.

I was rooting for the beauty queens too. Eric is just too full of himself for me to like him and Danielle panics too easy. Thank goodness Mirna didn't win. She might be the most annoying person on the planet. I was shocked when people said they liked her sense of humor. Also, they all really didn't like Rob and Ambuh; old wounds never heal, eh? Uchenna and Joyce at least came out as the nicest. Good for them.
Ah, well this season was okay, but suffered from having interesting teams kicked out so early. As long as they don't do a celebrity amazing race I will keep watching.

Ah, classic. You hide spoilers behind the jump ALL SEASON and then for the finale you post them before the jump. I'd wait to come to the site if I knew you were going to do that. For a TV blogging site, I can't believe you don't have a policy on this. Can't you all sit down (or skype each other) and come up with a consistent way of handling this site-wide??? Honestly.

I'm sad that Eric and Danielle won, particularly since Danny and Ozzie (my favorite team) characterized Eric as a "complete a**hole", removing any doubt that he was just getting a bad edit from the producers.
My main complaint about this episode is that the leg in Hawaii was pretty much meaningless. Everyone arrived on the same flight, and everyone left on the same flight. The quiz in the vault was an interesting twist, though, and although i would have liked to have seen a longer time limit, thus possibly stagger the teams out a bit more, I can see why the producers would want to keep the drama of a few minutes' separation.

I figured the season was gonna be lame when Ram-ber got eliminated so quickly . . . and it WAS pretty lame.
I did enjoy tuning in to see how obstinate Mirna would be each week, and hating her was fun.
Seems like the editors could've added 2-3 minutes onto the ending so we wouldn't have to watch all the losers trying to act all happy for Eric and DanL for a painful 8 minutes, with the 5 minutes of commercials.
Lame, lame, lame . . . but it did make the latest Apprentice look a tad less crappy.
Good luck, Booty Queens. Y'all should have won!

It's seems like the races finales have been sort of anti-climatic lately. They need to figure out a better way to end it somehow, the rest of the season is so much more enjoyable! Maybe they need to start and end in a foreign country!
John S: It's not a spoiler if the show already aired!

I was rooting for the BQ's but E&D were my second choice of the finalists. My pick to win was O&D. I like J&O but they already won once. I really though that the BQ's would have done best with that last challenge; I was very surprised that E&D got it right. The best part though was the fact that I used to live right across the street from where they finished. I could have watched it from my living room window.

Don't read an article about a show you haven't seen yet!!
It's such a no-brainer.

Here's something else that I was wondering about - why did they all fly into Oakland instead of SFO? They're both the same distance from SF, although Oakland is a smaller airport and easier to navigate. I was surprised that none of them inquired about an earlier flight into SFO.

The BQ's should have won ... the safe combo was lame..it should have been a road block which Danielle, Mirna and Kandace would have had to do that their partners completed the allowed amount. Kandace would have passed the other two for sure. Oh well looking foward to next season, and hoping the producers find some interesting characters!!

Why is it that the best teams never win AR?

Well I was kinda out it since U&J got the boot and even though I don't like Danielle I'm glad they beat the B&Q's. I just don't like them... hell I wasn't happy with the final three at all. I thought C&M was going to win until I saw all those jagged rocks then I knew their lead was gone. Oh well congrats to E&D on winning the mill.
I for one liked the safe challenge but I thought that finale was super light compared to the previous ones.
For next season I hope we get fresh players, I hope they stay away from family AR, and I want the challenges to be harder. Also bring back stripping the teams of all their cash & belongings when it comes to non-eliminations round.

As I understand it the instruction on the clue told the teams that they had to travel to San Francisco by way of the airport in Oakland.
I hope that in the next season of TAR they get rid of the Intersection - it's like designating that one mile in the middle of a marathon be run as a three legged race - and return to allowing only one Fast Forward per Team. Also a two hour finale even if you have to have two Roadblocks and two Detours in the final leg.

I was THRILLED when Rob & Amber were eliminated. Them coming in 1st 2 or 3 times was getting on my last nerve. Out of the final 3, I wanted Charla and Mirna to win, but oh well, at least it wasn't the beauty queens.

I jumped for joy when Rob and Amber were eliminated what crud those two are. I would have loved
for Myrna and Charna to have won, they persevered despite having so much in strength and height against them with all the others. The beauty queens, yuuuuk.
