This week's Lost audio podcast featured more hints and teases than real answers. Since it's close to the season finale, hosts Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse only gave fans indications of what to expect in the next three weeks. They did manage to review "The Brig," preview "The Man Behind The Curtain," and answer fan questions, however. Here's a quick recap:
- The writers knew for several seasons that Anthony Cooper was the original Sawyer. They actually thought it had become fairly obvious.
- Lindelof and Cuse were tight-lipped about "The Man Behind The Curtain," but mentioned that we will learn much more about Ben and Jacob. Richard Alpert will also be seen next week.
- In "The Hunting Party," Tom was quoting Alvar Hanso when he said the following: "Since the dawn of our species, man's been blessed with curiosity."
- There will be no fake Hanso commercials this year.
- Lindelof and Cuse may make "voice cameos" in the season finale.
- The producers are hoping to do a podcast sometime during the show's hiatus.
- In response to a fan question about the Hurley bird: The bird may be in the season finale (the bird usually appears in the season finale), and has not appeared in Hurley's pre-island life.
- Lindelof and Cuse hinted at Monday's announcement about a scheduled end date for the show, and said that they are glad that they can plan for the series' end.
"The Man Behind The Curtain" airs this Wednesday at 10pm ET on ABC.

I think the Hurley Bird is an omen signifying Hurley, AKA Hugo Reyes, AKA 'King of the Mind/Spirits' is The One True and Only Master of the Island. What would happen if the Buddha/Superman/Odd John/The Messiah didn't know who/what he was? Locke, Ben and the rest had to be physically present on the Island to begin manifesting powers; all Hurley had to do was use the Lost Numbers to begin altering reality (abeit unwittingly) anywhere on the planet. When Hurley (Gaelic for "sea tide") couldn't solve their riddle in Australia, his subconscious willed Oceanic 815 to the place holding the answers...

When John Locke got shot I could`nt believe it, well I don`t think he dies. He bucks up and either walks to Jack and Juliette or he`s wearing kavalar a bullet proof vest off of that fed that was bringing Kate in. Locke`s character is to good to die he just can`t die. Its got me on the edge of my seat. I love this show it seems like it just started and its already over here we go again another nine months to wait that really sucks!
