Noah Daniels on 24* Warning, spoilers from this week's episode ahead.*

While 24 had been critiqued left and right this week -- including in a new Entertainment Weekly piece (in the dead tree version) which gives this season a C -- let's mull over some choice moments from the twentieth hour:

Quote of note: "The only thing he cares about is pushing his lunatic agenda," aide Lisa Miller told her lover, lobbyist Mark Bishop, about her other lover, Acting President Noah Daniels. Apparently Daniels was concerned about more than pushing his agenda.

Moment of tension between CTU staffers: Which CTU pair had the most stressful moment of the week? The divorced O'Brians who've spent the last few hours bickering and shedding tears in the hallways? Or interim CTU Director Nadia Yassir who clashed with Mike "The Brawler" Doyle over the treatment of Audrey Raines? I'm sick of the O'Brian melodrama, so I'm going with Yassir-Doyle.

Moment of tension among White House staffers: Chief of Staff Tom Lennox created mucho tension when he told Daniels that Miller was leaking vital info to her lover Bishop, who was then passing the intel to the Russians. Daniels ramped up the tension when he told Lennox that he too has been doin' the nasty with Miller. "What the hell do I do Tom?" he asked, his massive ego crushed by Miller's duplicity.

ACLU nightmare moment of the week: Audrey. Strapped to a table. An egotistical physician ready to pump her full o' drugs 'til she either dies or tells CTU what she knows about the location of a Chinese operative who now has Russian defense technology. Then Jack Bauer, who's a walking ACLU nightmare, came to her rescue . . . and left ACLUers feeling confused.
