Here are AOL Television's top picks of the week.
Heroes (Mon., 9PM ET, NBC)
It's been a long, cold seven weeks since Heroes left off on a doozy of a cliffhanger: the nefarious Sylar was poised to kill good guy Peter. But being the hero that he is, Peter isn't going down without a fight. The other Petrelli brother, Nathan, learns what Linderman's superpower is, that he once was part of a group of heroes and that he is the one plotting to blow up New York City. Meanwhile, the Company pursues Claire, but Mr. Bennet looks for a way to protect her.
Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll (Tue., 9PM ET, The CW) 1st season finale
The season finale of 'Pussycat' can only mean one thing: Veronica Mars is coming back soon! Seriously, I'm not sure we needed another America's Next Top Model, and that's what it was, except with some singing and dancing. Even last week's challenge -- a "pressure-filled" media day with commercial and photo shoots -- was totally ripped from ANTM. This week, the final three girls -- Asia, Chelsea and Melissa R. -- bare their claws in their mission to be the next Pussycat Doll.
American Idol (Wed., 8PM ET, Fox)
Idol is giving back. The biggest show on television will use its power to help young people living in poverty in the United States and Africa. For every vote cast by viewers, the show's corporate sponsors will donate money to various charities, including Save the Children and UNICEF. It'll be a star-studded event, with appearances by Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Daniel Radcliffe, Teri Hatcher, Sacha Baron Cohen and more. Oh, and one Idol finalist will be eliminated as usual.
30 Rock (Thu., 9PM ET, NBC) 1st season finale
30 Rock has gotten funnier every week since its premiere last fall, and earned a second season despite low ratings. I can't wait to see what creator Tina Fey will conjure up in her head next year. In the finale, Liz and staff look forward to the summer hiatus, Jack welcomes his mom (Elaine Stritch) in time for his wedding and Kenneth juggles hosting his backwater cousin (Sean Hayes) while searching for a missing Tracy.
Raines (Fri., 9PM ET, NBC) 1st season finale
Or should I say, series finale? Things aren't looking good for this midseason replacement. But then again, it IS on Fridays. Maybe NBC will keep the show around because, really, who cares what's on Fridays anyway? Then again, it'd be nice to see Jeff Goldblum land on a better show. In the finale, Raines helps his ex-wife (Cynthia Watros) investigate her current husband's death, which she is convinced was not an accident.
Entourage (Sun., 10PM ET, HBO)
A few weeks back, we did a feature called "Back From the Dead," where we picked shows we'd like to revive. I almost picked Sex and the City, then I realized -- I have Entourage! It's basically SATC, set in Hollywood, with guys. Vince firing of Ari has been hilariously treated like a romantic breakup. Vince has a new agent, the hottie Amanda, but Eric's feeling left out when they negotiate in secret. Meanwhile, Drama is targeted by Pauly Shore for his new celebrity prank show.

I guess I usually don't read these things, but do you usually include spoilers like you did in the Heroes preview? WTF... I didn't want to know that stuff. I didn't see a spoiler alert or anything and I sound like a whining baby now, but I'm sort of irked about it.

There's nothing on this list that anyone watches, except for maybe Heroes! Try putting some real shows on like King of Queens, Lost, Criminal Minds, Survivor, CSI!

Yeaah.. I'm going to fourth the "spoiler" comments so far. Come on guys. I made it 7 weeks without that shit, and a freaking AOL description ruins it for me.

I like Raines. Its different than most other shows on TV. And Jeff Goldblum does a great job as Raines. I hope it get a second season. I'm sure it'll build some sort of audience if it stays on the air a bit longer.
As for the heroes spoiler, thank god i didn't read it. 7 weeks w/o a spoiler. I'd like to keep it that way for a few more hours.
