I think this video would be funnier if it was about half as long as it is, but it's still a pretty funny edit of dialog lifted from Star Trek that only sound dirty and risque when heard out of context. The '70s porno music in the background is also a nice touch. The only problem is, now whenever I watch Star Trek I get kind of turned on.
The scenes in the video are lifted from the episode "The Immunity Syndrome" in which the crew of the Enterprise receives a distress call from a Vulcan ship. I'm pretty sure that episode didn't involve a lot of sex, but if it was as explicit maybe more people would have watched it. According to Wikipedia it won an Emmy for special effects, but if they also tossed in more "adult" elements it might have also won an Adult Video Award, thus bridging the gap between perverts and sci fi geeks. I'm just saying it has the power to bring people together.
Oh yeah, and the end of the clip contains a clever spoof of those obnoxious HeadOn TV spots. Enjoy:
