Sanjaya MalakarI know it's been two days, but I'm sure Fanjayas (and Howard Stern and VTFW fans) are still reeling from Sanjaya's somewhat surprising elimination on Wednesday night. So what's next for the hula-dancing kid with the craziest hairdos to ever hit American Idol?

Thursday night, the SanMan appeared on The Tonight Show. And this Saturday, he will attend the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner as a guest of People Magazine. Sanjaya will be joined by his MomJaya. Other guests of People, include, Valerie Bertinelli, Tim Gunn (Project Runway), Zac Efron (High School Musical), Eddie Izzard (The Riches), and Robert F Kennedy Jr.

There's also a juicy rumor going around, courtesy of Star Magazine, about a possible duet between Britney Spears and Sanjaya. According to an unnamed source, "Britney started watching American Idol when she was in rehab," and "She became a huge Sanjaya fan and thinks the two of them can make beautiful music together."

One thing Sanjaya isn't going to do? Go back to high school In fact, Sanjaya told AOL's the TV tattler that he received his GED after his sophomore year, because "this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. This was my way of learning it, and I got a lot further than I ever expected to."

Sanjaya also told AOL, that he hasn't gotten any TV or singing offers yet, but he's sure they'll come. Sanjaya said, "I'm more than willing to go into any entertainment field ... I think my main thing to look for when I choose opportunities is something that I really feel strongly about. I'm not going to choose based on money. The most important thing I can do is just stay true to myself.
