Bob Odenkirk, the writer and comedian who can currently be seen on Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and whose past credits include The Ben Stiller Show, The Larry Sanders Show and Mr. Show (he must like shows that end in "show") is developing a series for the comedy Web site Super Deluxe called Derek and Simon: The Show (see what I mean about the whole "show" thing).

Derek and Simon will premiere on the site on May 16 for a twelve-episode run. Odenkirk says the series, which focuses on the titular characters attempts to woo women, was based somewhat on the film The Celebration, but will be much funnier.

A lot of us here at TV Squad are pretty big fans of Super Deluxe, and I've yet to be disappointed by anything Odenkirk has done yet, so I have high hopes for this series.

Now I'm curious when and if his Tim and Eric partners Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim will be launching their series for Comedy Central Motherload site. I was ever-so looking forward to it.
