Jon StewartJon briefly talked about the crazy weather that the East coast has been experiencing. Actually, one of the buildings close to where I live has revolving glass doors and two of them shattered because of the wind was so strong. Craziness. Of course, the weather talk didn't last long because the show can only go on for so long without making fun of the government...

"Loan Wolf": Paul Wolfowitz is in a spot of trouble after some business involving his extra-special lady friend. Sorry, Jon, but I'm not totally sure you'd be able to take Wolfowitz in a fight. He seems to have a certain scrappiness about him.

"American Gigolo": Oh, my goodness. Richard Gere is... well... skeevy, and India does not appreciate it. Senior Mumbai Bureau Chief Aasif Mandvi talked about Gere's mistake. Favorite line: "If you're darker than a caramel, Al Sharpton speaks for you..."

Correspondent Rob Riggle filed a report on a Florida City Manager's sex-change dilemma. I'm not sure how I felt about this. I laughed a few times, so I suppose it was better than some of Riggle's other reports.

The night's guest was Sig Hansen from Deadliest Catch. Thanks for dressing up, Hansen. I wasn't sure why he was doing an interview, since Deadliest Catch doesn't seem to be preparing a special or a new season at the moment... Last night's guest, Andrew Card didn't have anything to promote either. Does no one with a new movie or book want to come on the show? Ohh, y'know what? They should have Simon Pegg come on the show to promote Hot Fuzz. I saw the Hot Fuzz commercial a few times during the breaks and I'm totally pumped. Are you pumped? You should be pumped. EDIT: Oops. Looks like Deadliest Catch just began its third season. Can you tell I don't watch that show? Their website didn't scream things about an all-new season like other shows' websites do, so I couldn't tell.

Jon/Stephen: Stephen Colbert checked his Indignometer. By the way, Colbert's upcoming book I Am America (And So Can You!) has a cover now. Check it out. Moment of Zen: Richard Gere is obnoxious.
