If you don't like spoilers, or even possible spoilers, just stop reading now. Seriously. If I see one comment about how I ruined the season finale of CSI for you... well, the other readers will ridicule you.Everybody on board? Good.
TV Guide's "Scoopermodel" Ausiello is doing the math and he's estimating that the series is going to kill off Jorja Fox's character, Sara Sidle. There are three reasons: 1) Fox's contract is up next month and she hasn't signed a new one, 2) "Sources" say she's bored after seven years on the series and is ready for something new, and 3) Sara Sidle disappears in the season finale (also, her relationship with Grissom becomes public and the miniature killer returns).
Personally, I'd like to see a beloved character get killed off, but this will do. Someone definitely needs to go from that show, and when Jonathan and I suggested killing off Nick Stokes last season, a lot of TV Squad readers said they'd rather bid farewell to Sidle. It'll make an interesting 8th season for Grissom if she's dead. The season finale airs May 17th.

Maybe she's just trying to get a raise again, that would account for reasons 1 & 2

I agree a character needs to go. I won't mind this one at all.

She better not be killed - she makes this show - well OK maybe not make it - but she is by far the hottest on there! They can't kill her off. This better be a swerve!

I agree with Corie. Sarah Sidle makes the show almost unwatchable. I can't stand the character and would be happy to see her go.

The show does need some shaking up, and this would certainly do it. If it does happen, I will be VERY interested in how the writers will have Grissom react and the rest of the teams reaction to Grissom and Saras relationship.

I hope Aussiello's speculations are wrong. Sara is my favorite TV character. I couldn't continue watching CSI without her.

Sara is the only non-two dimensional character on CSI. She gives the show heart. I'd stop watching if she was killed.

It would bring the series full circle, since she joined the team after pilot chick was killed when Warrick left her alone at a murder scene and the killer returned to clean up. I would miss her, but it's a reasonable shakeup and it would be interesting to see if another tech moves to the foreground, a la Greg, or if someone outside is brought in, like Sofia or Sara herself.

I hope Aussiello's speculations are wrong, especially since he has been wrong in the past. Sara is such a central character to the show and her relationship with Grissom is what makes CSI a show that better than all others. I would definitely not continue watching the show if Sara is killed off

Sara is an awesome character, she's one of my favorites and I would hate to see her killed off. I would really like seeing Grissom happy and Sara makes him happy, so she should live.

Just kill off Nick Stokes and be done with it. Jorja Fox is great on the show.

I just LOVE Jorja and her character Sara. She gave the show a heart and conscience. Jorja and all the main actors made CSI as what is is today : a big tv hit all over the world. Loved by millions of fans, REAL fans. Because REAL fans would never talk like that over a character or a person of a tv show that they say they love. I really hate the rumors about the idea that she would be killed off, because I don't believe that for a second. Sorry for the "you so called fans who even can't spell her name Sara right and needs a shaken up episode". What did you fooks watch all these years ? It can't be CSI...

I just hope everything regarding the contract, JF, and the finale are just rummors or a ruse to get ore ratings. I don't mind keeping the suspence. But the only reason I watch CSI is for Grissom and Sara romance, kill her off, and believe, I would not miss CSI.

I really hope they aren't going down that lame street, where Grissom is devastated, blah, blah, blah. Can you say boring! I love the suspense and drama that it could happen, but I want a happy ending. Sara is the only characacter (with the exception of Griss, Doc, Hodges and Greg) who I enjoy watching anymore. I thought this show was different, I never thought I'd see the day when they would parallel the other shows and kill off the main characters love interest. I would be extremely dissapointed if the show goes down this road and I will not watch Grissom suffer or act like nothing happened should they kill Sara off! Point blank no Sara = 1 less faithful viewer (who owns all 6 seasons and NEVER misses an ep).

I hope Sara stays -- she is the emotionally perfect foil to the stoic Grissom, and imbues the show with humanity. Yes, she may be flawed, but isn't that what makes her so honest? To suffer the emotional and physical trauma that she did as a child, and still be able to feel and give so much, gives her a true nobility. She also brings humanity to Grissom --joy and vulnerability. Her loss would devastate the show.

I won't watch the show anymore if they kill Sara off. She's my favorite character and, apart from that, it would be quite pointless. Then, again, Jorja Fox is such a wonderful actress. I hope the producers make the right choice.

Sara is my favorite character on CSI. Jorja Fox does an amazing job of portraying her & CSI just would not be the same without her. I sincerely hope that they aren't trying to ruin my favorite show by destroying 1/2 of the hottest couple on TV -- long live Grissom & Sara!

TV Guide has been wrong before, and I hope that they are wrong this time. I agree with the others who wrote that she is the heart and soul of this show. When I stated watching I was a Grissom fan, then a Grissom/Sara fan. Now I'm a Sara/Grissom fan. She's natural, and genuine, and she's the reason I still tune in to CSI week after week. LD
