Desperate Housewives: Liaisons

Jason Gedrick(S03E18) Hooray! Desperate Housewives has hit its stride (finally this season) with a great, laugh-out-loud episode. I loved the roundabout way Edie and Carlos ended up together at the end of the episode. Maybe they really needed to feel connected as though they really were a family for things to click in the bedroom. What do you think Gaby is going to find out when she finds out that Carlos is with Edie now? I think she is going to flip. But will that separate Edie and Carlos? Or Gaby and Victor?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I think Gaby has finally met her match with Victor.

I would like to see her stay with him for awhile. I don't know enough about him to say I want her to end up with him, but it would be nice to see where this relationship goes. Do you think it's too soon for Victor to be telling Gaby he loves her? And why didn't he call to begin with? We still didn't really get a satisfactory explanation for that. I don't know. I think Victor may be a game-player, and Gaby may be just where he wants her. And that is one of the reasons I hope he sticks around for awhile.

Tom was so annoying in this episode. When he broke his back last week, I was kind of hoping that maybe he the actor was going to be off appearing in a play or something for awhile. I didn't know he was going to be hanging around driving everybody crazy. You could ALMOST understand why Lynette could think that the new chef looks pretty good. Jason Gedrick is a very likeable actor. A likeable drug addict! This is going to end badly... I can't wait! The real question I have though is: Will this end badly in that Lynette will have an affair? Or will it end badly in that he will revert back to coke use and sell them down the river, so Tom will have been right after all? Anybody want to make any bets? I think he is going to go back to coke and sell them down the river. I really don't think Lynette is the cheating kind. I don't think she has it in her. What do you think?

Oh God, the whole Susan, Ian, Mike storyline is becoming unbearable. I wish she would just send Ian back to England where he belongs. I admit that Mike has been acting like a zombie all season, but he's better than Ian. Yeash. What was it she liked about Ian again? Honestly, I cannot remember at all. When Susan swerved to hit the deer and ended up in the lake (pond?), I was hoping that maybe that was the end of Ian. Do you think Mike is following Ian and Susan? Even if he is, it doesn't mean that Ian is likeable, even if he is right about Mike. Susan is right that she has never given Ian cause to worry. Maybe Ian and Tom should hang out-- or Mrs. McCluskey could put them in her freezer with her dead husband and her popsicles. I guess she likes to have him around when she's talking to him?

I don't think Mrs. McCluskey likes Tom very much. I think Tom better watch out.

I agree with the commenter last week who said, "I miss BREE!" I hope she comes back soon!

On a scale of 1 to 7, with 7 being the best, I'm going to give this episode a 6.
