Black and Norton do vaudeville

sidesplittersNormally, any post I wrote up in reference to a video found on YouTube would include the video at the end of the post, but since we try to keep our content at least somewhat family safe, you'll have to check it out over at Dead Frog instead. In case I didn't make it clear, the video is definitely not safe for work.

Regardless of it's safety in the work place, the video is pretty damn funny. It's actually a segment from this DVD set and features Lewis Black (The Daily Show) and Jim Norton (Lucky Louie) as two of the least successful vaudeville actors in history. In fact, the only thing that makes the team of Burt and Dick stand out from the rest of their contemporaries is their penchant for extremely raunchy material.

Sidespiltters: The Burt and Dick Story is narrated by comedian Jim Gaffigan, and the attention to detail as the segment follows the trajectory of the duo from the silent film era to modern times is top notch. It's the filth and sex prevalent in uncensored mediums like the Web and DVDs mixed with the wholesomeness of the golden age of cinema, and the result is hysterical, if perhaps a little too long. Still, it's worth checking out if you're not easily offended by the sight of a man being violated by a gorilla
