"Indecision '08": It's all about the photo ops, apparently. I fail to see the appeal in that picture of John Edwards shaving an old guy... I hope that doesn't make me (more of) a heartless person."Mess O'
"College Lacrosse Report": It's time for "College Lacrosse Report" again! Hurrah! 'Cause when I think "sports", I think Daily Show. Anyway, it was coverage on recent developments on the Duke rape case... complete with irritating Nancy Grace footage. Hmm... I suppose "irritating" was a bit redundant.
The night's guest was Richard Preston, author of The Wild Trees: A Story of Passion and Daring, which is a book about... um... trees. I must congratulate both Jon Stewart and Richard Preston for being able to hold my interest throughout the interview, because so much tree-talk could have easily caused my attention to stray. Nice work, boys.
Jon/Stephen: None! Sad. Moment of Zen: "Kurt Vonnegut. So it goes." A lovely clip from Vonnegut's 2005 Daily Show appearance. RIP...

I loved when Jon ended the John Oliver segment with "So it goes." And I loved his intro to the Moment of Zen. Nice to see someone else responding to the passing of Kurt Vonnegut with the same emotion as I did. I also noticed that Stephen Colbert ended his Colbert Report intro with "Welcome to the Monkey House," which I'm assuming is in the same spirit.
We'll miss you, Mr. Vonnegut.

They have done Mess-o-potomac before, Ender...I think the first time was right after the Iraq Study Group report came out, or thereabouts (beginning of the year)
