Tucker Carlson, MSNBC pundit-show host and former bow-tie aficionado, has been selected to host a game show pilot for CBS. Called Who Do You Trust?, it involves a take on the "prisoner's dilemma," where strangers try to gauge how much they trust each other as the game proceeds, and make wagers based on what they think the other person is going to do.There was a game show in the late fifties called Who Do You Trust?, which was hosted by Johnny Carson. From what I've seen, it seems like this version will be similar to the Carson version, but not the same. Though, in both versions, the hosts will be able to help the contestants judge each others' trustworthiness via interviews. Of course, Carlson's experience in trying to wrangle a pen of talking heads should serve him well here. As for Carlson... well, even if you disagree with his politics or think he's smug, you can agree that the guy's got personality. Heck, even Jon Stewart would admit that, albeit begrudgingly.

Time for a more recent photo? He wasn't worn the bow-tie for a while now (unfortunately).

Not sure what this is about...is Carlson's MSNBC show history? He is one of the few conservatives I can tolerate....

Rumour has it that the only ones safe on MSNBC are Olberman and Chris Mathrews.

I think he is actually a good choice. The lighter part of his msnbc show where he banters with one of his producers about non-news issues, like American Idol and celebrities is entertaning and funny. In my opinion he was also charming on Dancing With the Stars, even though he got dumped first round. This game show might end up awful but I think Tucker deserves the chance to prove himself in this arena.
