The script for the new CBS comedy pilot I'm in Hell found its way onto this thread on A Special Thing dot com, and I decided to take a gander.
As mentioned before, the series focuses on an affluent jerk played by Jason Biggs who dies in a car crash and is sent to Hell on Earth (which to him is Akron, OH). The series also stars David Cross as the devil who makes sure Biggs' life is sufficiently cruddy.
I'm not an actor, but being able to picture Biggs and Cross in their respective roles at least helped me visualize the show a little better. The funniest parts of the script, however, came from the character Fischer, Biggs' roommate in Akron/Hell who makes an animated porn movie using clay.
The concept is interesting, but nothing about the script stands out from anything else you might see on television. It remains to be seen if the talent assigned can make something worthwhile out of the script. On paper, however, the whole thing feels more than a little flat. I'm not sure even the most diehard Cross fans will want to sit through it just to see his occasional appearances.

My dislike for Jason Biggs outweighs my like for David Cross... so this is a show that I probably won't be watching.

It's kind of funny nowadays that TV shows are leaked to the Internet before they're even made....

I read the script, and while it didn't knock my socks off, I could see this coming together to be an alright pilot.
However, I'm not sure if their is a whole lot of material here. It comes of as just a wanna-be "My Name is Earl".
