Does anyone agree that Apolo Ohno was dressed like a salesman on Dancing With the Stars? It was appropriate attire for him, since he was trying to sell his waltz last night. There was at least one happy customer: Judge Carrie Ann Inaba gushed about Apolo's transition from sloppy to sophisticated. Am I the only one that didn't buy it? Where is this chemistry everyone was talking about? His partner Julianne is a charismatic dancer, but together, they reminded me more of the captain of the chess team being paired with the homecoming queen for a high school performance. The show left us last season with the family gearing up to welcome a new addition to the Reverend Run clan. In a sad twist of fate, the third season opened with a personal tragedy for the Simmons family. In a poignant heart-rending moment, not often found on reality TV shows, Reverend Run reminded his family, "All things work together for good, [there will] be good that comes out of this ... If you can find any strength in me, if you can grab from that, that will be good."

You're completely wrong about Apolo and Julianne - there is chemistry coming out the pores of both Apolo and Julianne when they are together. There couldn't be a cuter couple than these two, and the sheer joy, sweetness and skill of their dancing entertains on a level far above all the other couples.

Sorry but I'm not seeing the chemistry. Everyone keeps saying how cute Apolo and Julianne are but they are so boring. Julianne looks like a Barbie doll and seems to have a plastic personality to go along with the look. Apolo doesn't seem to have any personality at all.
They seem to think that they can win just by trying to look cute. Cute doesn't translate well in the sexy dances. Cute is just plain boring!

Apolo is certainly a good dancer, but he is also a professional athlete (like Laila) so I would expect them to excel in a physical competition. Also, Joey Fatone is a professional dancer so he has an advantage as well. My personal favorite dance team is Ian and Cheryl. They have so much personality and give each dance 100% effort. Ian is not a professional dancer or athlete, but yet he has all the talent of the rest of them -- last week he received six straight "9s" from the judges. I hope he surprises everyone by giving his best performances in the next two weeks and capturing the trophy.
