This is Frak-tastic! Sci Fi is planning a Battlestar Galactica marathon in May! The network announced that the 20 episodes of the third season will rerun from Wednesday, May 16 to Friday, May 18.This special marathon will air from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 16 and 17, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 18.
Fans will be able to relive this amazing season with a killer ending that had people talk around watercoolers for days, even causing executive producer Ron Moore to get out from under his shell and answer some questions about the season finale.

I'm just waiting for all the episodes to make it to Universal HD. This is the *exact* kind of show HDTV nerds pine for, so I was stoked when I found out they were playing it in 1080i. Should make the wait a little less problematic when I get to watch things again in full widescreen quality.

The whole Frakkin season was great as were the previous two. But the LONG wait for season 4 is going to be interminable. Maybe they should imitate
"LOST" and "JERICHO";put on 6-8 episodes in Oct. or
Nov. and play the rest in 2008.
Question:Were the 12 colonies all seperate star
systems or what? 12 habitable planets in 1 system
would seem to be just about impossible;Star systems
in relativly close proximity seems more likely.

Bill B, The original 12 colonies WERE NOT in different star systems. RDM brought this up in an early season 1 commentary (or maybe even the mini series) that they had thought about this and decided that it wasn't worth trying to explain it away.
As for the wait, it won't be that bad. British shows do it all the time (and usually with even less episodes) We will also have the two hour Pegasus movie in the fall to tide us over.
