Starting this year, you'll be able to catch some of your favorite Discovery series online (including all the channels under the Discovery Communications umbrella) before they hit the TV airwaves.
Discovery iPremieres will launch in the third quarter of this year, two per week. The premieres will include both new and existing shows, including: Man Vs. Wild, American Chopper, What Not to Wear, Bindi: The Jungle Girl and Dirty Jobs. The premieres featured each week will change based on the top-performing shows. The online episodes will also include extra behind-the-scenes clips.
I'm always glad to see networks putting their shows online, but there's another benefit to this that most people overlook: you can use these premieres to get women. All you have to do is watch the premiere online, and then sit down with a lady to watch the same episode when it airs on television. Then you "predict" everything that's going to happen before it does, and she'll think you're either a wizard or warlock of some kind with amazing mental powers. She'll have no choice but to do what you tell her, lest you turn her into a monkey or something. I guess women can also use this to get men. Either way, it benefits everyone.
