(S02E22) I knew this episode was going to begin with a quick recap of the season, but I had no idea we would be treated to the parade of haircuts that we saw. I kind of miss Linc's bald head.
I must admit that by the time the opening credits kicked in, my heart was racing. There were so many loose ends to tie up. Could it possibly be done in just one hour? It's the kind of task that only Michael Scofield himself could accomplish.
The best thing about this finale is that every single character acted exactly the way they should. Nobody steeped out of character, even though Sucre was three pints low, all he could think about was Maricruz. I mean, I've been hung up on a chick before, but he took it to the next level. I can't wait to see what happens.
Kellerman finally did something good. Now before you accuse him of being out of character, remember he had no options. He had lost his job, his credibility and any chance of finally hooking up with Carolyn. He knew it was time to either go out like a man or go to the next level. Personally, I'm not convinced he's dead. Without an actual body, I can't believe anything. I can't wait to see what happens.
Just when you think Mahone can't get any crazier, he surprises you. I'm a little torn, though. I don't know whether I should praise Alex for his desire to reconnect with his family or chastise him for stupidly of forgetting about Mr. Kim. Doesn't Mr. Kim always show up when he's least expected?
Speaking of showing up unexpectedly, I don't know how Sara got to Panama so fast and I don't care. The reunion warmed my heart almost as much as seeing her take out Mr. Kim. His forgetting about Sara could also be considered out of character, but it made perfect sense to me. After suffering so many setbacks, he was bound to make a mistake. I can't wait to see what happens.
The big question, of course, is what the hell is going on at SONA? Was getting Michael to SONA the endgame in all of this? Will he be the guinea pig in some awesome government experiment? Can Bellick suffer any more humiliation? I must admit, as pitiful as Brad looked laying there on the concrete, I had to smile. It was the epitome of comeuppance.
In closing, I want to point out the real crime on Prison Break. The fact that nobody connected with this show ever wins it an Emmy. The acting, the writing, the directing are all some of the best on television and as far as next season is concerned, I can't wait to see what happens.

robert knepper was superb all first season and this one, hes badly overlooked. as were the the acting of the supporting cast like abruzzi, c-note and mahone. first season of prison break was one of the best tv i've seen, it's really such a shame it didn't get the recognition it deserved.

So I was kind of confused, and I think I might've missed something... what happened to Kellerman being completely erased from government records, and any attempt to come forward being futile since his claims of being close to the Veep/Prez would be voided by the lack of any evidence?
At the end of last week's episode, I kept thinking "how is Kellerman going to be a 'reliable witness'?" and I expected some kind of trickery on his part, but then the judge just mentions some "documentation" that proves everything. Or was he just lying before, and he had evidence all along, but he wanted to lead Linc and Michael along to somehow win back Reynolds?

I thought it was a very good finale, my only worry is that it's going to get stretched 1 season too long.
Also, there's no way Kellerman's dead, those gotta be his guys.

i hope hes still alive but i think they got rid of him...he serves no purpose now that he's freed sara, there's not really any storylines they can follow up now that the whole president thing is over and done with...

We won't know Kellerman's fate until we see if his pilot next year on ABC (I think) succeeds...I did momentarily consider that the shootout was a set up...
It's going to be a looooong summer!

Theres's no way they can completely erase Kellerman. Especially not being the guy that Kellerman was. He always looked after his own ass first and then the president. Remember the first season when he killed his friend cause he was going to name Kellerman?
I fully believe that Kellerman, after watching him for two seasons, would have all the info he needed just in case they turned on him. He was almost always smart and never stupid enough to trust anyone.

To add I don't believe that Kellerman's dead. For all we know he could have set that up himself. He knew they'd try to kill him. Not to mention that so far in this show we've never seen the Company men hide themselves in their actions. So why wear masks now?

So, does Linc get the boat? And is the money still in the water along with what's left of Kim?
I agree that Robert Knepper deserves an Emmy.

Kellerman is so dead, why would he have said that bit about smiling when they shoot you at the end otherwise. Plus he tried to kill himself last episode why would he go to such great lengths to save himself from prison now. And finally the actor has a role on the upcoming Gray's Anatomy Spinoff show next year.
So now we have Bellick, Mahone, Michael and maybe T-bag in a while all in the new Hell-Hole, Sona prison...well I'm gonna be back for next year.
What was going on with Sara disappearing at the end of the episode and that guy standing by a car when Linc was looking for her, I don't what that was meant to infer.

I think the acting, writing and directing is great!
It's the only hour of tv i care to turn on.
I love it and can't get enough. My children bought the set of dvd's for me so I won't get withdrawals waiting for next season.
Love You Michael!!!

We. at Fichtner_Firsthand believe that William Fichtner so deserves an EMMY for his Mahone portrayal, that we have just completed a campaign to send the producers at Prison Break, requests to submit Fichtner's consideration materials to the Academy of Arts & Sciences. We hope they listened to us!!

Kellerman is going to be starring in the new Grey's Anatomy spinoff so I believe he's dead and, frankly, I'm sad. As for the SONA and the medical research facility, it totally threw me off, but in a good way because I don't think I could deal with next season as Prison Break: Panama! I agree that the show and its actors deserve praise, namely, the actor who plays T-Bag---the most loathesome character who you are ashamed to admit you almost like...now that's acting!

Sara got to Panama so quick because they kind of sped through the 24 hours that Michael had to get to the warehouse (presumably because there was so much going on in this episode). Michael was a busy beaver during that 24 hours.

SONA is a great idea by the writers. they admit they have no clue what to do next and they left SONA so open-ended that they can write anything and people will think its a coherent story. season 3 is going to be part of escape from la/ny, part born in east la and part prison break season 1. its going to be so ridiculous that im actually looking forward to it; unlike everything after the middle of season 1.
and kellerman is totally dead. he was going to kill himself and decided to save an innocent person(s) and then let them kill him. not the stoics way to die but definetly the way a solider would want to.

Bravo, Prison Break! Another great season was sent out with a bang! Could any of us ever seen this coming at the beginning of the season? Hell, no!
Prison Break has never let me down. This year was no exception. Think about it. They've gone from Chicago to Utah to the border to Montana back to Chicago and then to Panama. And that's just Mike and Linc! We've also seen the rampage of T-Bag across several states... Sucre doing everything including jumping from crashing planes just to get to Maricruz... Belick going from guard to bounty hunter to jailbird to bounty hunter again to whatever he was laying on that floor at SONA... Sarah going from fired to fugitive... Kellerman going from agent to working with the brothers to hero! This show has more twists in one season than most do in their entire run.
On to last night:
So, The Company wanted Michael in the SONA? And now they want him to escape? I really hope this plotline doesn't devolve into some weird sci-fi government experiment crap.
How many people cringed seeing Belick on that floor? Comeuppance indeed! I can't wait to see how T-Bag reacts to the SONA (even he's got to have limits!).
What was with T-Bag's last scene? Did he cut a deal with The Company to find the brothers?
Mike, T-Bag, and Mahone all in SONA together! Ouch. I predict Mike will team up with Mahone to break out. They really are flip sides of the same brilliant coin.
The producers promised next season would be much darker and grittier. They weren't kidding! That prison is a horror show that could so push the boundaries of network TV. Putting Mike into a prison he does not know with nothing but variables at every turn is a brilliant idea. I hope Linc doesn't get himself arrested to get into prison with Mike. Linc doesn't have the smarts that Mike has to pull off such a tactic. I also hope that the rumor about one of the brothers being dead by episode 5 of season three is not true.
(Honestly, if they'd ended the series with Mike, Linc, and Sara going away in the boat, I would have been happy as well... except it would have left the Sucre storyline unresolved.)

This episode was more confusing than anything else is this season, or last! What is with the weird cliffhanger? Guess we'll have to wait till next season to find out!
Also, am I the only one who thought Sara was maybe involved in this whole getting Michael to SONA plot? (I probably am) This may be farfetched, but in that last scene where she's walking off after giving her statement, you see this man in a black jacket and sunglasses who seemed to give me the impression that he was waiting for her. And I also thought she was avoiding Linc's calls. But I don't know. I may be reading too much in to this.
And again, I don't think Kellerman is dead. No body, no death, simple as that. And that whole die with a smile on your face, he could be giving the poor guard instructions.

Oh, my, God!!! I can't be the only one that desperately hoped that the series would just die a diseased and disgraceful death. But no! It is going to be exhumed and beat for another 20 odd episodes until the stench reaches around the world.

What i have a hard time understanding is: who is the guy who never speaks! He writes everything, and then the one time he does speak it's because he was in an area where the satellites can't track him. He keeps mentioning SONA like if michael finds it its going to be the best thing ever, or the worst. And why was he in a lab jacket in what appeared to be a government lab.

I got the impression that SONA is a prison, probably for high profile convicts down in Panama--where the USA has no jurisdiction. Since Michael is a handy/dandy prison breaker, he'll be tasked with busting some folk out of there.
Well, that's what I thought when I saw it last night. I also thought I was done with Prison Break. The finale was excellent; the storylines that interested me were wrapped up. Therefore, there is no need to sign up for another two season commitment (season 3: break out of SONA, season 4: on the lam).
