Justin Timberlake was the host extraordinaire for this year's Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards. Many of us have little reason to have watched the actual broadcast, but what good would the ceremonies be without a massive sliming of the host. Speaking of slime, on the latest episode of The Amazing Race, the contestants were forced to eat a 24-inch Polish sausage before they could continue the race. What went in a yummy sausage, came out slime in this TV's Top 5! moment from last night's show.
Some get slimed, others make slime, but Barbara Walters asks the slimy questions...
Sure the nation recognizes Rudy Giuliani as "The Nation's Mayor" during 9/11, but during his appearance on Barbara Walter's special he had been reduced to a philandering husband as Barbara asked him the hard hitting questions about his marriage and the other woman, now wife Judith.
Whoa Barbara, you really do have the journalistic chops that leave others in your wake. If only you could control your former friend Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell.

The nation may recognize Giuliani as "America's Mayor," but NYers sure don't. We remember him as the guy who turned a blind eye to a record number of police shootings, who privileged high-rent neighborhoods over low-rent ones, who allowed city relationships with the black community to deteriorate to an all-time low, and who wasted hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of tax dollars on frivolous lawsuits (all of which he lost) in an attempt to keep city agencies from gaining access to the information they were owed in the city charter.
He's also, by the way, the guy who insisted on putting the state-of-the-art emergency command center in the most vulnerable part of the city--near the WTC), which is why it was destroyed and hence useless on 9/11.
It's a shame that his current setbacks have to do with his personal life, since his public life is so much more revolting. But anything that keeps him from doing to the country what he did to NYC...good on it.

Turned a blind eye to police shootings? Those police shootings were officially investigated and some went to trial. Several officers were also sentenced to prison terms, one serving 20 t life for the Abner Louima assault.
Once these cases are in the in the courts it is out of his hands. You want to blame anyone for acquittals, blame the juries and the prosecutors.
If you have a problem with his policies, that's fine, everyone has their own political philosophies, but he never hindered IA or prosecutors in going after cops.
Keep in mind that racial relations and crime in general was hideous under David Dinkins. He was so awful that democrats turned out in droves to elect Giuliani to two terms.
