"Exposé" had a lot of layers, and, naturally, contained plenty of Easter eggs. The Numbers made their usual appearance, and Sawyer continued to read at an impressive pace (it seems like he has a new book every time we see him). Here's what else the Lost fan community has found (spoiler warning for those who have not seen the episode):
The Numbers: There were quite a few uses of the Numbers in this week's episode. Exposé was in its fourth season, and fans are wondering if the fictional show's events hint at events to come in Lost's fourth season. Will the identity of Jacob be revealed, just as the Cobra was unmasked, in Season Four? Also, Howard's diamonds were worth eight million dollars, and the spider's poison lasts for eight hours.
Lost Library: Once again, Sawyer managed to get some reading done while some island drama was going on. Just before Nikki confronted him about giving her a gun, Sawyer was reading Agatha Christie's Evil Under The Sun. Wikipedia tells us that the novel is a murder mystery whodunit that both features a jewel and takes place on an island.
Exposé: Besides the possible Season Four clue, the scenes on the set of Exposé contained some interesting details. The name Stephen Williams appeared on the show's clapperboard and the director's chair. Stephen Williams is the name of the real-life director of the Lost episode. In addition, one of the names on the Exposé script's cast list was Johnny C. Johnny C. is the main character of a comic book series called Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.
Connections to Other Episodes: Hurley called Exposé "Baywatch, but better," and the show was certainly as popular. Locke was watching an episode of Exposé in "The Man From Tallahassee." There was also a banner ad for Exposé in the soccer game that Desmond was watching in "Flashes Before Your Eyes."

I thought the box of nicotine gum might have come from Widmore Labs like the various pregnancy tests, but according to a screen grab at the Lost Easter Eggs site (http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/), I guess I was wrong - unless it was listed in the fine print.
Also, there was a character named "William Kincaid" in 'The Man From Tallahassee' (I think he was the physical therapist). And this week, it was mentioned that Howie Zuckerman produced a show called "Dr. Kincaid, Esq." So I'm wondering if there's something to that last name that might pay off in some future episode...?

You're assuming he actually finishes the books. He never struck me as a 'book finishing' kinda guy.
Did anyone check to see what kind of gun Lando shot? Because.. really.. It *better* had been a Colt .45. I mean... c'mon... You get Billy D to shoot a gun....

For those of you who were asking about Jacob, here's the lowdown. Jacob has been mentioned by the Others on several occasions. He is rumored to be their leader. Pickett mentioned Jacob's list in reference to Kate, Sawyer, and Jack. Jacob's name was shown on the creepy brainwashing video that Karl was forced to watch earlier this season. He hasn't been seen yet, just talked about.

Just a thought. In Expose, the newspaper that Paulo and Nikki were reading was dated 24 September 2004, yet the plane crashed on the island on 22 September 2004. How did they manage that? Is there something odd about this that could be explained?
