According to Monsters and Critics, singer, video vixen and popular MySpace personality Tila Tequila (real name Tila Nguyen) may soon have her own series on VH1. Nguyen says she plans to "push the envelope," with her new series, which, based on her YouTube videos, I assume means she'll be half-dressed through most of the show to distract people from her singing. There are no real details on the series just yet, and no official word when or if it will debut.
Tila Tequila has risen to fame by being pretty and outgoing, appearing on several TV shows and a ton of magazine covers. While I've yet to see any evidence there's more to her than that, I'll reserve judgment until the show actually airs. For all we know, she might actually have something worthwhile to say, and hell, maybe she actually has some brains inside her head. In fact, maybe her show will actually feature her interviewing world leaders and building space telescopes for NASA while also working on a human cloning project in her basement.

Tila also got a role in the movie "I Pronounce You Chuck And Larry". All of this crap just for having a Myspace page and adding friends. Please make it stop, PLEASE!!! Her iTunes music video that I had the misfortune of seeing is the worst thing I have seen in my LIFE.

Now that Tila Tequila has been exposed as having fake Myspace numbers (check out the Bob Lefestz emails), is Vh1 still planning a show? How do you have 2 million "fans" and only sell 15,000 Itunes singles according to Soundscan? Haven't we had enough of this fake ex-porn star? Noone's going to watch this the same way noone buys her music. Her entire career is based upon computer generated fans that give the false impression of popularity. She's a legend in her own mind and now the fakery has been exposed. Maybe now we can give some attention to the truly talented out there.
