The more America watches Dancing With The Stars the more confirmation there is that athletes encompass infinite amounts of grace. At first glance, Laila Ali has a body meant to beat boxing competitors into a bloody pulp. Last night she also proved that she could knock people out with a mean mambo on last night's episode of Dancing With The Stars. She floated effortlessly on the dance floor and made a mambo booty shake that caused an earthquake on the dance floor and took home the high score on last night's Dancing With the Stars. Meredith Vieira fell head over skates for Will Ferrell during a visit to the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink promoting Blades of Glory on The Today Show. Vieira admitted and told the producers and audience that she was not such a good skater evoking a self fulfilling prophecy. You knew she was going to fall, you just didn't know how hard she would fall. Will Ferrell even slightly broke out of his character to ask if Meredith was alright. Ouch, thats going to leave a mark. Maybe the stunts and excitement were too much for Ferrell who decided to leave the tricks to the camera on his appearance later on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Wow that must have hurt for a while. I'm a pretty bad skater myself and I remember falling badly the first time.

I wonder what the reaction was with people drinking their morning coffee at 9 am or so and seeing Meredith Vieira fall on the skating rink with Will Ferrell. It looks silly and embarrassing to watch! So much for Today extending to 4 hours with ridiculous high jinks like this! They should have shut the cameras off and gone to a commercial after that!
