Idol Gossip: odds and ends for the week of March 26th

American Idol judgesFaridwidjaya.com claims to have the song spoilers for tonight's episode. Go over and check it out if you want to know which two finalists will allegedly be singing Police songs.

The desperate MySpacer continues her hunger strike, promising "not to eat" until Sanjaya Malakar is eliminated from the competition. Apparently, "J," as she is called, is NOT a Fanjaya. I'm not either, but I'm not gonna cry about it. Or give up chocolate.

What does Sheryl Crow think about American Idol? Star Magazine has this quote from her: "It undermines art in every way and promotes commercialism. I am sad people love it so." I love you, Sheryl, but lighten up. Besides, you have nothing against using your music to sell Revlon products. And didn't you perform on Big Brother?

Attending a live performance of American Idol is a lot different from watching it at home, according to Chuck. The orchestra is so loud and impressive that it drowns out the vocal imperfections of Sanjaya. Oh yeah, Chuck says Paula and Simon "playfully whisper" to one another throughout the performances, and you might even see Simon give Paula a backrub. Ewww.

Vietnam Idol? Hey, why not? Soon to be followed by Turkey Idol, Iranian Idol, Norwegian Idol, Fantasy Island Idol, and my favorite, Love Boat Idol. As long as there is money to be made, why not spread the Idol virus everywhere?
