I don't think my older sister reads this blog, so I think I'm safe in announcing this to the entire world: she had crushes on several Osmonds in the 70s. And now, though she's happily married with children, she might get a chance to relive those days. "And they call it, puppy looooooo-oooove."
Donny Osmond has announced that five of the Osmond brothers - himself, Wayne, Jay, Merrill, and Jimmy - might reunite for a one-time only TV special. They haven't performed together in 25 years, though all of them, including sister Marie, still perform. Alan was diagnosed with MS several years ago.
Osmond has just released his 55th (!) album (in England only right now), and he has a new show on ABC I saw advertised on TV today called The Great American Dream Vote (I think that's the way to get a show on the air these days. Have "American" in the title: American Idol, American Inventor, American Morning, and don't forget America's Got Talent). And he hosts a version of the Pyramid game show in England.

Us middle-aged Osmond fans say "Yes"! They always were great all around entertainers.

This is the best news I've heard in a while. I've been an Osmond fan for 35 years! They have to be the most talented family in the history of entertainment! Not only do they all sing wonderfully, they also play tons of instruments. I am also looking forward to Donny's new TV show. I am not a reality show fan, but I intend to watch The Great American Dream Vote! GO OSMONDS!
