*If you haven't watched this week's 24, don't read this post. Period.*
While I'm still recovering from my dire disappointment over a Logan-less 24 hour -- following on the heels of last week's fruit-filled episode -- here are four moments to muse until the next installment of the Jack Bauer hour:
Quote of note: Chloe O'Brian wins this category again this week. (This gal gets some of the best lines.) When Chloe unceremoniously locked lips with her ex, Morris "Drill Bit" O'Brian, in the middle of CTU, he asked her why she kissed him. "Just checking your breath," she replied, nonchalantly, confirming that Morris hadn't been hitting the bottle. At least not recently.
Quote of note II: The runner-up quote of the week comes from another 24 character who tried, but failed, to also lock lips in CTU, but this time with Jack. When Jack wouldn't kiss his freshly-widowed sister-in-law and then confessed he'd been seeing someone before his incarceration in China, Marilyn Bauer said, "Jack, I'm sorry to be the one to have to tell you about this. Audrey's dead. I don't know all the details. I just know what I read in the papers." (And if you believe Audrey's dead, you must also believe that somewhere, in America, Edgar Stiles is still alive.)
ACLU nightmare moment of the week: CTU's Mike "The Brawler" Doyle seemed a bit too interested in choking CTU colleague Nadia Yassir while interrogating her after finding out that her computer terminal was sending information to terrorists who were attempting to hit San Francisco with a nuclear bomb. Before energetically choking Nadia in the interrogation room -- he was stopped by Nadia defender Milo Pressman -- Doyle said he wasn't surprised that Nadia was a traitor because she is a Muslim. Doyle's an ACLU nightmare moment just by standing there. Looks like he may be a shoe-in to win this category every week until the season finale. Unless someone else uses a power drill. Or plastic wrap. In ways not approved by the manufacturers.
Moment of tension between White House staffers: With National Security Advisor Karen Hayes now back, so are the verbal flare-ups between Karen and presidential Chief of Staff Tom Lennox. In her first meeting with Lennox since the assassination attempt on President Palmer II, Hayes and Lennox exchanged various insults with Hayes warning, "I won't let you blackmail me again."

Doyle was only PRETENDING to choke Nadia. And only PRETENDING to be a racist. So I guess that gets him off the hook with the ACLU.
Yes, Audrey's alive. She'll be the first of several characters who will be returning fron the dead.
If I'm right, ex-prez Logan will return at the end of the season-to rat out who ordered him to attack the Russians last season.
