Former Lost co-star Cynthia Watros has landed a part in a new CBS pilot. The actress will be playing Marisa Tomei's best friend in the comedy The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud. Tomei will play the lead role of Penelope Cloud, a "brilliant" writer. With such a long title, the show is sure to be a huge success, right?
Watros, who played Libby on the second season of Lost, also had a part in a failed CBS pilot called My Ex Life last year. Her career has failed to take off since her abrupt departure from Lost following a DUI arrest. Since leaving the show, her only major acting credit has been a supporting role in the movie Frank. Watros made her final Lost appearance on the season two finale, "Live Together, Die Alone."

She should just return to Guiding Light as the nurse, Annie Dutton.

She was good in the last season or two of "The Drew Carey Show," playing a friend of Drew's who was inexplicably in love with him. (I think they were supposed to have been schoolmates, despite the fact that she's ten years younger than he is... I guess that's what happens when you're not the star.)

I kind of miss her on Lost. I liked her charecter a lot, and I agree, she was good on Drew Carey.

There was no valid reason to kill her off. Her backstory was never explained (why was she in the nut house with Hurley?) and she never even got a flashback.

I agree with you, ac. I wanted to see more of her backstory regarding the looney bin and the unfortunate (or maybe cursed?) Mr. Reyes. I suppose that could be explained via flashbacks anyway.
