"President Bush: ¿Dónde Está?": "Sensitive issues such as corn and beans" is pretty much my new favorite phrase right now. I will find a way to work it into a conversation some time in the next 24 hours. Trust me.Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has confessed to multiple acts of terrorism, including the 9/11 attacks and letting the dogs out. Calling him the "Horatio Sanz of Jihad" was interesting because as soon as I saw that awful picture again, I thought of Sanz's appearance as Mohammed on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update".
"Banana Drama": Oh, goodness. Chiquita has ties to terrorist groups in Colombia. I'll never look at bananas the same way again. Senior Produce Analyst John Oliver stopped by to talk about the ties between terrorist groups and various fruits.
"300": The Iranian anger towards the film 300 is pretty ridiculous. It's not like Hollywood has been that kind to any other ethnic stereotypes, so...
The night's guest was Sandra Bullock, star of the new film Premonition. I enjoyed this interview because I felt like I was just watching Jon and Sandra joke and goof around like the audience wasn't even there. Oh, and any time Jon begins a sentence with "When I used to smoke pot", he's pretty much guaranteed a crazy round of applause from the audience. Also, Wishful Thinking was the movie Jon was talking about.
Jon/Stephen: None. Moment of Zen: Comedy Central Germany presents The Daily Show with Jon Stewart! I just took a look at their website and, apparently, they have Green Wing on their schedule. That's an amazing, amazing show.

When the first thing I think upon seeing him is "John Oliver again?" it really detracts from my enjoyment of his bits. Two nights of Aasif Mandvi (the second of which wasn't very good, but still...) made me happy to see Oliver again.
Also, this is not the first Green Wing endorsement I've heard... I think I'm going to try to hunt that show down at some point.

Was anyone expecting a Stephen Colbert moment during John Oliver's segment?
