Older comedians such as Larry Miller and Bob Newhart have each signed development deals with TBS, along with younger faces such as Frank Caliendo and Bill Engvall.
The Bill Engvall Show, mentioned previously, will star Engvall as a family counselor, along with Nancy Travis and Tim Meadows.
The Frank Show, starring MadTV impressionist Frank Caliendo, is a sketch comedy series centering on Caliendo's impressions.
Even though I'm not that into the whole "blue collar" scene, Engvall is funny and likable enough that I think his show can find an audience. Impersonations, on the other hand, are only a small part of most sketch shows and it doesn't seem like the best thing to build a whole series on.
There's also Big Shot, produced by Jamie Foxx, about a teenage NBA rookie.
If you like your comedy a tad more cerebral, there's also Uncommon Sense and Bob Newhart: In Search of Comedy. Uncommon Sense, written by and starring comedian Larry Miller, is about a newspaper columnist and his family. Bob Newhart: In Search of Comedy is a comedy anthology series hosted by the venerable comedian. I'm a pretty big fan of both these comedians, so I'll probably check them both out at least once.

I'll definitely be there for Bob Newhart's show. I just hope he has a fairly active role in the comedy along with his hosting duties.
