"Cheney's Clout", "'08 Simple Rules: For Dating Our Withdrawal": Jon talked about the clout-loosening stylings of our very own Vice President. I don't think I've ever heard the word "clout" used so many times in my entire life. "This man is very, very un-good". The Democrats aren't doing so hot either. Their presentation for their plan for troop withdrawal was less than clear. I haven't heard someone accidentally say "19--" in a long, long time.Maybe I blacked out for a few minutes, but I didn't see any correspondents in this episode. Not even a field report! Hmm. I don't think that's happened in a while. I suspect YouTube/Google is holding all of the correspondents hostage until Viacom pulls the lawsuit. It is the only logical explanation.
"President Bush: ¿Dónde Está?": Where in the world is George W. Bush? Guatemala! I was disappointed to see that there were no more clips of First Lady Laura dancing. However, I was quite happy to see Bush's crazy Bill Cosby sweater.
The night's guest was the legendary John Waters. Damn, I love this man. I mean, goodness, did you all see his beautiful, red shoes? I currently live in Baltimore, and every day, as I walk down the street, my eyes actively search for thin moustaches, in hopes of catching a glimpse of Mr. Waters. I feel like moving to Baltimore entitles me to having a sighting at least once. Anyway, Waters was his usual delightful and quirky self and the interview was based around Waters' new Court TV show, 'Til Death Do Us Part, which starts on Monday. I have the show's promotional comic book and the story inside was pretty interesting... I think I may check out an episode or two, just because I love awful murder stories like these.
Jon/Stephen: Stephen Colbert thought Pink Flamingos was an okay movie (same old "dog defecates in tranny's mouth" story). Moment of Zen: AIPAC rawks.

Yeah, no correspondents. But I guess they had Roger Ailes' stand-up material, and with that kind of comedy gold, who needs professional comedians?

I *did* see his beautiful red shoes. They made me very happy. Good luck on your sighting--you should report when it finally happens.
