ABC has posted the newest Lost audio podcast, which includes cast and crew interviews and a clip from this week's episode. Cast member Michael Emerson discusses his take on Ben Linus, and co-executive producer Jean Higgins talks about the "nuts and bolts" of filming in Hawaii. Here are the highlights:

• When out in public, Emerson gets fan reactions that range from fearful to formal.
• The actor loves performing Shakespeare; Macbeth is his all-time favorite play.
• He enjoys the "charged subtext" that his character, Ben, brings to each scene.

• Emerson does not want to work with rabbits again after his experience during "Every Man For Himself." Apparently the rabbit would not react to Emerson's attempts to scare it in its cage.
• Co-executive producer Jean Higgins is the on-site producer for Lost. She is in charge of transforming a script into an actual episode, with regard to logistics and budget.
• Higgins keeps track of several episodes at a time. While one episode is filmed, at least two other episodes are being prepped, and three others are in post-production.
• The biggest filming challenge for Higgins is making Hawaii look like other international locations, like Korea. Her biggest challenge was creating a scene set in snowy Buffalo, New York. She eventually found a shaved ice company that could supply Lost with ten to twelve dump trucks' worth of snow cone ice for the scene.
• Higgins will often put a lot of effort into scenes, only to have them get cut later on. One example: Greg Grunberg (The Pilot) filmed a flashback scene in the Season One finale, but the scene was cut for time.
• Many of the show's familiar locales are filmed on property owned by Hawaii's Kamehameha Schools. The school's foundation allows the crew to utilize 500 acres of its private property. Scenes on the beach, the jungle, the savanna, coves, and tide pools are filmed there.
• The Iraq scenes used in Sayid's military flashbacks were filmed in an old military bunker in Hawaii. Higgins believes that this is the most unusual Hawaiian location used in a Lost scene.
• A clip from this week's episode, "Par Avion," includes a scene in which Charlie has set up a picnic breakfast for Claire. Desmond interrupts, and tries to convince Charlie to go hunting with him. Claire suddenly has a plan for getting off the island.
