Here's yet another rundown of who's been cast in network pilots for the upcoming season:
Christina Applegate and Jean Smart will both star in the ABC comedy pilot Sam I Am, which is not, one assumes, a televised sequel to the Sean Penn film I Am Sam, though turning that movie into a comedy would be really funny. Well, to me anyway. Actually, Applegate plays a woman who has to piece her life back together after suffering from amnesia.
Bob mentioned recently that The War at Home may be leaving the schedule, but y'all aren't getting rid of Michael Rapaport that easily. He's been cast as the lead in the CBS comedy pilot Fugly, about three sisters who pay for one of them to have an extreme makeover.
Diedrich Bader (The Drew Carey Show) has been cast in the CBS drama pilot Skip Tracer along with Stephen Dorff and Beverly D'Angelo.
Stephanie Childers will star in ABC's comedy pilot American Family.
Jamey Shridan has been cast as a zombie in the CBS drama pilot Babylon Fields, about a town where the dead have come back to life. The show is loosely based on Fort Lauderdale, Florida *rimshot*.
Ty Burrell has been cast as a reporter in the FOX comedy pilot Action News, about a local news station.
Melanie Griffith may have a recurring role on Viva Laughlin!, CBS' pilot about a man who tries to open his own casino in Laughlin, Nevada.
Billy Brown and Jesse James have both been cast in the FOX drama pilot NSA Innocent.
Elizabeth Ho has joined the ABC pilot Women's Murder Club.
NBC has added JP Walker to the comedy pilot Wildlife.

regarding "Fugly"- it's 3 siblings, not 3 sisters. 2 are sisters (Marisa Jaret Winokur and Nikki Cox) and am assuming Rappaport is the brother.
