Reno's finest return to Comedy Central April 1 at 10:30 to finish off the fourth season of Reno 911!, the improvised comedy series created by and starring The State alumni Tom Lennon, Robert Ben Garrant and Kerri Kenney-Silver (along with Niecy Nash, Cedric Yarbrough, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Mary Birdsong and Carlos Alazraqui).
It's been just under six months since the last episode aired, and with the release of Reno 911: Miami in theaters, it's not as if fans have been left wanting. Still, I'm happy to see the gang returning to television. I must also admit I haven't seen the movie, though I do know it did get quite a few scathing reviews. It's a shame, but great sketch shows seem to have trouble adapting to the big screen (the Mr. Show straight-to-DVD movie Run Ronnie Run and Tenacious D in : The Pick of Destiny being two examples, though I actually thought the Tenacious D movie was pretty funny).
Oh yeah, and if you pop on Comedy Central a half hour early at 10:00 p.m., you can catch the third season premiere of The Mind of Mencia, starring stand-up comic and alleged joke thief Carlos Mencia.
UPDATE: An early draft of this post read that Reno 911 was starting its fifth season. It is actually finishing off its fourth season. Thanks to those readers who pointed out my error.

Does anyone actually think "Mind of Mencia" is funny? And there are enough of them to justify a THIRD season?!

Seriously, when is Comedy Central going to stop giving Menstealia work? He really is one of the most unfunny comedians I've ever seen. He doesn't make witty ironic jokes about race, he just perpetuates racial stereotypes. Badly, I might add.

Carlos Mencia isn't funny, the show needs to go, The commercials are annoying the hell out of me, what the hell is that der, der, der thing he does? Is it a catchphrase? is it supposed to be funny? I just don't get it, also on a side note the Reno movie was hilarious, nice transistion to the big screen.

Anyone checked out the video Joe Rogan did with Carlos Mencia. He just blasts him about stealing other comedians jokes and not being funny. He even has some of the comedians on the video. Hilarious.

Who Cares about mensteala and joe rogaine, mensteala is a joke thief and rogan hasn't been the same since Phil Hartman died and I Don't give a shit about his stupid fear factor nor UFC Crap, I Had enough of both of them, because neither of them are funny anyways.
and this is the same rogan that destroyed the man show after kimmel left.
The Man show jumped the shark because of his talentless ass.
Face it american television is dead, it's been like that ever since the real world started in 1992.

Mind of Mencia's popularity just shows you how dumb and racist this country still is. It's never been funny, Carlos Men... err, Ned Holmness has never been funny.

Mind of Mencia, Reno 911, Southpark, The Daily Show, and The Sarah Silverman Program are Comedy Central's highest rating shows.
It would be a dumb move on Comedy Central to cancel his show. His show attracts also attracts a broader audience.

Is this really the 5th Season? Or is it just the second half of 4? I was under the impression it was the latter. The first three seasons were 14 episodes, but the most recent only showed 7 episodes.
