ABC just released the fourth installment of the Lost character flashback videos. This week, the Locke flashbacks have been replaced with the first Charlie flashback video. Flashbacks for Jack, Kate, and Sawyer are also available, and will probably conclude in a few weeks.

Part One of Charlie's flashback begins with Charlie as a young boy. His mother gives him a piano for Christmas, and we learn that she expects his talent to benefit the family someday. The video moves ahead to Charlie as an adult, playing bass for pre-fame Driveshaft. After visiting a priest for confession, Charlie determines that he must quit the band to avoid temptation. His brother, however, has other ideas. Liam dangles a recording contract in front of Charlie, and promises to look out for him in the future.

The fourth Jack flashback shows Jack dealing with a temptation of his own. Jack tells a grateful Gabriela that her father's surgery will begin the next day. Christian warns Jack about "crossing the line." We see the aftermath of the failed surgery, in which Jack kisses Gabriela and ultimately resists her advances.

Kate's flashback was taken from two different episodes. The first half of the video continues with the Kevin-Monica storyline, and shows Kate reacting to a pregnancy scare. She reveals her true identity to Kevin, and drugs him in order to maintain his innocence. The video cuts ahead to Kate on the run, stopping at a hotel to read a letter containing bad news. Next, Kate shows up in the back of former boyfriend Tom's car, and we learn that Kate's mother is dying of cancer.

The Sawyer video depicts the con man's time in prison, after he was charged with conning Cassidy. We see Sawyer targeting Munson, a new inmate who has supposedly stolen ten million dollars, which was never recovered. Sawyer suspiciously "warns" Munson about the scheming warden, and a confrontation with the warden is shown. Finally, Cassidy visits Sawyer and claims that he is the father of her daughter, Clementine.
