Ever wanted to get a hold of one of Isaac's paintings? If so, you'll be happy to hear that NBC has decided to auction some of the paintings seen on Heroes and made by renowned graphic illustrator Tim Sale.Vivi Zigler, Executive Vice President NBC Digital Entertainment and New Media, announced in a press release that NBC was proud of this event as it would not only allow fans a chance to own a piece of the hit show but also benefit the Epilepsy Foundation. This foundation was chosen because Heroes' cast member Greg Grunberg is highly involved with it since his son Jake suffers from epilepsy.
NBC.com will hold two different auctions. Each auction will feature two full-size autographed limited editions prints and drawings of artwork used in the show, which includes "Exploding Man," "Eclipse," "Claire on the Stairs" and "Hiro and T-Rex." The first auction will start at 6 p.m. PAC on March 26 and close at 12 a.m. PAC on March 28. The second will be held at the same times but from April 2 to April 4.

It's nice and all but I think it's hypocrisy. He only does it for his own sons benefit so it's not like he is that good of a person when you only do good when your son is in need. I believe that you should help people no matter who it is and not just when it is your son or your self.

Dennis: It's easy to judge Greg but what does it matter his motives when the Epilepsy Foundation is the one that benefits. BTW, it isn't hypocritical.
Christopher Reeve & his wife weren't involved with spinal cord research until he was immediately involved.

Dennis, roughly 300,000 children in this country have epilepsy. If it's hypocritical to raise money to help thousands of people, including one person that you love, then sign me up.

Yeah, but they aren't even the originals. Only prints, so what's the big deal?

My sister has epilepsy, so I know what families everywhere go through when dealing with someone that is affected by it.
If I had the flow, I'd definetely bid.

Yea beens they're not the originals, they could just sell regular prints to everyone. I would definitely pay a few dollars for one, although I am cheap like that. Seems like they would make a lot more if they did it that way, even signed random ones or something.

Helping people this way, it's a nice idea and I think it's not hypocritical to raise funds to help those people. It only means that because his son suffer with the same illness, he knows how hard it is for the person and their family. For himself i think he have enough to support his kid, but how about those other people that will benefit from this event? By the end of this auction they may be able to sell expensive artworks, though it's not the original.
