Barney Fife, Herman Munster, James T. Kirk...and President Bill Clinton?
Yup, the former President is going to be the keynote speaker at TV Land's March 23 event to announce their lineup and programming future. It's the ultimate Baby Boomer talking about the ultimate Baby Boomer network. To quote TV Land spokesman Paul Ward, about the speech: "You better believe it's going to be about the economic and cultural and social influence of Baby Boomers (I don't know why I keep capitalizing "Baby Boomers" but it just looks right).
The event is being held to announce new shows that TV Land is going to air this year. It will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.

I find it really sad that you would have someone with the morals of a pig speaking for a station that presents many children shows...... He not only steals from the white house, pardons criminals that helped him out - but he made the title of President of the United States the laughing stock by commiting adultry. Yes a fine example of someone that should be in a respectable position representing the United States of America...

wonder how much TV Land is ponying up for slick willie's speech. This guy makes $100,000 per speech.
However, he may be forgoing his usual fee for a shot at the female interns...

Dear Dapig - very funny and I understand resentment as I have felt the very same toward you and the other California liberals, Media and so called actors/actresses that constantly use their position to insult President Bush. He not only has a country to run and try to keep safe from the terrorist (that you did nothing to stop)but he also has to live with the media that constantly takes pot shots at him... Maybe Al Gore should also speak - after all he invented the internet and and is fighting global warming with his energy efficient home that cost 300,000.00 in electricity according to the media. Sorry if I sound fed up - it is because I am.. The stars that harp on Bush for everything are the ones that are trying to convince America that the Democrats are for the common people - are they common people??

Char - I agree slick willy is NOT a moral leader. However, NO Politician has the common interest of the people...Further, if you think GWB is so great, just talk to the thousands of families (common people) that have lost loved ones in a war that has never made sense. Even better, just go down to your local gas station and find out just how much GWB cares about the common people, meanwhile the oil companies are reporting RECORD profits - is this in the best interest of the common people?
