(*Warning: Spoilers from this week's episode ahead*)
Will President Palmer II survive the assassination attempt? Are former President Logan's intentions noble or sinister?
As we ponder those questions, here are four more observations from 24's 11th hour to consider:
Quote of note: "He reminds me of you. You can see it in his eyes," Jack Bauer told his sister-in-law Marilyn of her son Josh, his (*ahem*) "nephew." Jack made these remarks while gingerly stroking the new widow's cheek.
Tense moment among CTU staffers: Chloe O'Brian shouting at a male CTUer who had to use the men's room to get out of the bathroom so she could argue with her alcoholic ex "Drill Bit" about whether he'd called his AA sponsor yet to discuss his recent torturing and accompanying booze cravings. Too bad she didn't have her Taser. I'm still pining for another Chloe-Taser scene.
Quote of note II: "We're not cold-blooded murderers. We're just trying to save our country," Reed Pollock, deputy chief of staff, said to the conspiracy-minded bomb maker he squired into the presidential bunker.
ACLU nightmare moment of the week: Without question, it's gotta be Pollock's planting of the bomb on the presidential podium in an attempt to off President Palmer II and frame the "good" terrorist, who agreed to work with the White House to make a plea for peace, for the explosion.

I'm loving your "ACLU Nightmare Moment of the Week". I swear, it seems like most of my fellow liberals and progressives have NO SENSE OF HUMOR. Or any idea that violence and brutality can be used as meaningful metaphors in art.
