Vincent the Dog had better not run afoul of the law anytime soon, because another dog has been added to the Lost cast. Lulu, an Airedale terrier mix, is an adopted pet of Jack Bender, an executive producer and director on the show. The dog, who was adopted locally from the Hawaiian Humane Society, has quickly become regarded as the show's mascot due to her frequent visits to the set.
Lulu's addition to the Lost cast came about through a technicality. Since animals are not normally allowed on set, Bender "cast" Lulu in an upcoming episode so she could come to work with him. Bender did not reveal the episode in which Lulu will make her acting debut. Vincent, however, will be seen in this week's 'Tricia Tanaka Is Dead.' Rumor has it that Vincent will reappear on the beach with an unusual surprise for Hurley.

So it's clear now? The plot and storyline are there to accommodate the crew, writers, and producers. Okay, just wanted to be sure.

Er, yes, because it's a terrible crime against the story when a dog is added in what I would presume is a small bit in one of the flashbacks. LOST IS SO OVER FOR ME!!! I'm going to watch the next three or four seasons, and if it doesn't shape up by that point, I'm outta here.

Lost was so much better when we didn't know anything about "the others". Right now, I think watching two dogs traipsing around the beach would be far more interesting than the convoluted plot and endless mysteries. Hey, maybe the polar bear can join them, and the weird black cloud can be the ring master!
And with the new later time slot, I'm just about to give up watching it altogether.

Who cares if someone wants to cast their dog in a scene. Aaron Spelling did it often enough for his kids. I find this season even more entertaining than last year. I feel that we're learning more about the hows and whys and even though we're still not able to answer those questions, I do feel closer. I think it's being written in an excellent manner. I'm constantly looking at backscene to see what might be lurking there.

LOST is so ridulously "lost" now I'm just about ready to give it up. Makes absolutely no sense. Too, too, many new characters. Where is Rose & Bernard???
I hate the new time slot. Too late for me. I'll stick to Jerico & American Idol & 24.

I love "Lost". The writing is fantastic, the characters are great, and the story is unique and full of mystery. It's a show you have to actively watch instead of one where you tune in and vegge out.
I'd love to see more shows like "Lost" and less "reality tv", sitcoms and "America, you vote them on or off" shows.

Adding a new dog to the cast is not going to change a thing. I was surprised to see that they brought back Danielle, now that's something that might bring a little interest to the story which, in my opinion, needs a serious boost just about now. Good thing that I still like the original cast otherwise I'd be going to bed a little sooner.

Hooked on LOST. However, agree with first post, seems storyline is only to suit the writers and producers. Also, storyline, is all over the map,as if they are writing as they go along. Too many angles going on at the same time. Sometimes less is more. However, will continue to watch, well, maybe if writers get their stuff together.

I LOVE LOST as well...I want to ditto John's post! I was struck and addicted from the first episode. Lost is unique television...such a nice change from being "spoon fed" by lame sitcoms, predictable dramas, and idiotic reality shows...many of which stay on the air for TOO long!! the gift of Lost is the storytelling and character studies. Have you ever been reading a GREAT book and regardless of what happens, you never want the book to end, you just want to keep reading because it's so damn good??I equate this to watching Lost. While I do want answers to the many mysteries to unfold, I enjoy the journey and nuances of this show. I do believe anwswers are being revealed but not laid out"neatly" and predictably like so many want. There is no way that the premise of theses survivors ending up on this island together can be simple. I am alarmed and angry at all the naysayers panning the show and the talk of it ending because it's not "delivering".
Geez, at least you have to think and speculate after each episode!
I will have to admit, though, I want to see Rose and Bernard again!!

LOST has turned into a mess . . . nothing ever gets resolved - the flashbacks are repetitive - we've known hurley has bad luck since his winnings . . . the best part of lost is the previews for the next week - until you watch that episode and see nothing get resolved and new twists that lead nowhere . . . lost is about to lose another viewer . . .

I say DITTO to the posts from John and Mel! Kudos to the writers who aren't using spoons to feed us each week. To the naysayers, you just don't get it because this show actually makes you think and if you can't do that without a map you will be lost, no pun intended. As to all of the flashbacks, new characters and the Others, without them how else could the show remain interesting? Let's see, we could just watch the survivors run along the beach and through the jungle every week struggling to survive on their wits and whatever nature has provided...oh wait, they already made that show (and the book), it was called Swiss Family Robinson. Unfortunately for those of us who love the way Lost is unfolding, history has shown us that unless a show is written to spoon feed the masses it doesn't survive very long which explains the proliferation of reality shows and sitcoms and American Idol. As to the new later time slot for Lost, may I introduce 4 little letters...TIVO?

You know, it's really cute to say "Lost is Lost"! How friggin' original! If you losers are Lost, don't blame the show and it's writers. Those of us who are paying attention and have watched the show from the beginning are clearly enjoying ourselves. This show is BRILLIANT and if you can't see that, then you ARE truly LOST! To the writers of LOST: please don't listen to the losers and keep up the great work that you are doing! Us true believers look forward to watching this show for many seasons to come!!

So sorry impatient viewers. LOST is my favorite. Maybe we do have something in common...I can't get enough either! There is no other show on television that keeps me on the edge of my seat or makes my heart beat so fast. For all the hours of channel flipping with nothing on I am certainly happy about this one small hour a week. To all you boo hooers relax and quit with the instant gratification. You can always watch The Price is Right for that.

Lost, we love it, it is active television watching and though at times it makes us crazy trying to figure out where it is going. We watch it as a family, though we do wish it stayed at 9 p.m. since our son has school but we always stay up together. The cast is fantastic and the diversity of them really works. We also love Rose and Benard. Kate, Jack and Sawyer what a triangle, hard to decide who should have Kate. Hope to see Walt and his dad after they left on the boat last season after giving them Jack, Kate and Sawyer. We love all the charaters and their history adds to the show.
