HarperCollins, ABC, and BBC Worldwide are getting together to create a book you've all been waiting for: a fitness guide based on the hit show Dancing with the Stars.
According to the press release, the book "will reveal for the first time how some of the stars and dancers got into the best shape of their lives. Included will be healthy recipes and simple dance moves as well as never before seen pictures and quotes from the stars and their partners."
Yeah, because I've always wondered how Tucker Carlson stays in such great shape.
I like how the press release talks about how fans and readers will learn "simple dance moves," as if these pro dancers got into that shape by doing simple dance moves, reading books, and using fat free mayo on their sandwiches. And "reveal for the first time?" What, have we been waiting for this secret info?
I think if the book was honest it would tell readers that to look like the professional dancers on the show you have to practice for 10 years and almost starve yourself. I think most viewers already have the bodies of Jerry Springer and don't need this book more than they need any other diet/exercise book.
The new season of the show starts on March 19.

What's next, a Dancing With The Stars Workout Video?
Anyway, I chose Joey Fatone to win DWTS 4 the very
day he was rumored to be in this year's competition,
so now that he's officially in, I'm going to sit
back, relax and watch the show from March 19'th on
to see if the former N-Syncer still has it in him.
If the audiences' reaction is any indication, I
don't think we'll be saying Bye-Bye-Bye to Joey's
solo dancing career anytime soon. I hope he wins,
because this is my last season viewing the show.
RICK.
