Let me just come right out and say it: Jeffrey Sebelia, winner of Project Runway Season Three, is making costumes for the Bratz movie. Is that really the glorious post-Runway life? The cocky persona that Sebelia took on all season certainly led me to expect him to spend his prize money and fame on jetsetting and more neck tattoos to decorate his massive, massive neck, but, as it turns out, he isn't doing as great as one might expect. Not only is he quite broke, but ... did I mention his post-Runway project is doing the Bratz film? I was quite furious with him when he was on the program, but this article has actually made me -- dare I say it -- sympathize. Maybe he should have taken the Jay McCarroll route and skipped the winning contract to do his own thing.By the way, I had no idea Season Two's Santino Rice was the one who encouraged Sebelia to audition for the program, let alone the fact that the two are buddies. I guess that's where Sebelia learned that the "cocky bastard" act would pay off.

Season two had Daniel V who is great too and frankly I think was better than the winner. Season3 Uni should have won, she was the best and is designing a dress for Racheal Ray on the award show that is on this weekend.

Jeffrey was so an unpleasant character on the show! he cheated, it was obvious that he did not sew the garments for he show all by himself... he does not have the persona of a winner in this industry and I am not surprised that he is not doing well.
By the way, the name of the other contestant is ULLI, not umi... she was unitone and Laura was boring. I think the most talented ones were eliminated during some previous quite stupid challenges...

I thought old Jeffrey had this righteous rock and roll constume business and was designing for big stars? And he was hugely busy and making lots of money? Just another lie? Or is that separate from the Runway stuff?

His ugly designs seem more appropriate for a Bratz character than they do on real women.
You can find Santino on myspace. He had a blog entry about Jeffrey and their friendship when the show was on.

Jeff sucked on the show and I knew everything he said and did was just an act. I was very surprised when he actually won although I would have rather him than Laura that pain in that ass....I just bought my daughter a great semiformal dress from Nick V. he has beautiful dresses on www.windsorstores.com which is a clothing store for JR's

He had the personality of an obnoxious teenage punk, he cheated, and we're supposed to be surprised that he isn't going anywhere? Please. Laura should have won that contest. If she had we'd be seeing some great classic and timeless designs by now.

The great thing is: You do not have to win to be successful, ie: Uni. The true talent will be recognized and rewarded.

I have been a dedicated Runway junkie since it started. I hoped in Season 2 they would realize Santino was a mistake, but ,then, they did it again with Jeffrey. I'm not even sure I will watch the next season. It seems that the most eccentric is the winner regardless of talent.

He was an asshole and I hope he never sells another garment. His absolute lack of common courtesy was appalling. When he had to make the clothing for Angela's mother he showed his true colors. Payback is a bitch......and he is getting his!

His lack of education poped up when he needed to deal with that girl's mother. He was not professional, rude, snob and full of himself. No wonder why he's not doing good. What goes around, comes around... cool Timberlake!

From a traditional design point of view, Laura, had the best designs. Michael was creative and moving forward in his craft. I thought that he would have been a good winner. Ulli was more of a one note designer. But to be fair, some people can't even hit one note.

I personaly liked jefferys designs and grew to love his 'asshole' persona. I thought all that were in the finals were great i am just glad that Laura didnt win, she seemd so stuck up....all of her garments were the 'same' dress just a differant color..I wish jeffery the best and i know we will see great things from him soon....GREAT JOB JEFFERY!!!

Lauras' designs were timeless and very classy, they did seem to have more of an appeal for a mature woman, but that in itself was a breath of fresh air! I watch some of the fashions presented, and find myself wondering which planet you might find someone wearing them.Michaels' designs were very fresh & appealing to the younger demographic, but what made the two of them great, was their overall attitude. They were competitive without being vicious(sp?) or rude. The way Jeffrey treated Angelas' mother was appalling,he didn't listen to her ,nor had any desire to make her feel good about the garment he designed for her, such behavior might be tolerated by an established designer(although I would hope no one would ever treat a client like that!) Jeffrey should have been eliminated right then. While I don't enjoy anyones' downward spiral, I couldn't be a hypocrate & shed a tear for the man either. Maybe he should take a look at how he treats others & make a change, and life will start rewarding him with a stage to showcase his talent.

The only reason for keeping Jeffrey or Santino was they made good television. every one wants to tune in to see what they will do next. Sponcers love these guy's. Ulli definatly should have won
