Ryan Bartholomew said...
Dear Ellen
Good day. My name is Ryan Patrick Bartholomew, and I am a photojournalist in Western New York. I have practiced my passion for some time now, and I am ready to take the next step. I have been working for small publications in and around the area to gain experience and knowledge of this lifestyle that I wish to pursue. The education and experience I have received covering these events has been tremendous, but it’s time to spread my wings and venture out to new and existing terrain.
I have spent the last few weeks putting together a website that best fits my passion. I am very proud of the work I have done, because I believe in what I do wholeheartedly. To capture something with my eye through the lens of a camera for others to view is something special. I have realized that every photo I capture takes on a life of its own, from person to person. Each event must be covered with passion and respect because it has earned it, or why else would we be covering it?
Since my start, I have covered a range of events including concerts, sports, & weddings. My website, www.siempreimages.com, takes you on an adventure of those events listed above, and some additional images that have caught my eye. My work has been published in Sports & Leisure Magazine, 5th Street Magazine and Pollstar. Once you have entered the site, anytime you click on a photo it will bring up additional photos, as well as listing of other events covered by category.
My forte is sporting and entertainment events (shows and concerts), but I am open to any event that comes my way. To me, a photo opportunity is a great opportunity.
To conclude, I truly hope that after you read this and view my photos. If you are interested in speaking to me about the opportunities you may have or know of an avenue for me to pursue, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am tired of the walls I keep running into but I am also not willing to give up just yet.
Sincerely,
Ryan P. Bartholomew
I would like to someday soon shoot stills for a television show, movie or concert events (Red Carpets or backstage).
