Jennifer Esposito is the newest member of Engine 62, according to TV Guide. Ausiello is reporting that Esposito's character will join the cast right away during the season four premiere. She'll play a volunteer firefighter who has a history with Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary). And, her character is supposedly also going to become a love interest for Tommy as the season progresses.Well, lucky Denis. Jennifer Esposito is gorgeous! She was spectacular in Crash, but the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Jennifer Esposito's name is her guest stint on one episode of SVU way back in 2000. She played 'Sara Logan', a sarcastic television reporter who goes public with her own rape. She has a sort-of father/daughter relationship with Det. Munch (Richard Belzer) that ends up being very heart-wrenching.

Yeah she was on Spin City, and has had a bit of a film career (Son of Sam, Don't Say a Word, one of those Jennifer Love Hewitt slasher movies). And I like her as an addition to Rescue Me. She's genuinely New York-y, attractive, and funny. And, as Ken Levine pointed out on his blog ( http://kenlevine.blogspot.com/2007/01/how-can-you-tell-if-actors-funny.html ) kinda recently, beautiful people who can still be funny are hard to come by.

Enough with sexcapades of Dennis Leary on the show, get on with the firefighters lives and a little trauma-drama on people around them. Sex sells but enough is enough! The show is too great to make it repititious (Did I spell that right?) The chartacters are all great and all should stay on and not be "burnt" off! But enough with the SEX already!! "!PLEASE!!" We know Dennis is a slut on the show, now he has to ruin Jennifer Esposito??? How about his cousins wife! Let her have his baby already and go on with the drama! His jailed Uncle is the funniest guy on there now!
