Eric Balfour, who plays CTU analyst Milo Pressman on 24, is slated to star in a new CBS cop drama, Protect and Serve, set in suburban Los Angeles, according to the web site Zap2it.
Balfour's character Milo was seen in CTU offices early in season one of 24, but then he disappeared for several years. He resurfaced this season not only in CTU, but as Chloe O'Brian's ex-boyfriend and constant irritant to another Chloe ex, Morris, also a CTU employee.
Aside from appearances on 24, I know Balfour best for his role on Six Feet Under where played troubled teen Gabe Dimas for a dozen episodes.

Ah, Milo. He was also on the never-picked-up pilot "Fearless," which was floating around on the series of tubes a few years back. It was stupid, but at one point Rachael Leigh Cook was dunked into a bathtub full of milk for no real reason, so I will always remember it fondly.

Does this mean Milo's getting offed sometime this season? "24" certainly is not above killing off main characters.
He was also on NBC's "Conviction," a "Law and Order" spinoff last season that never really caught on (though I sort of liked it).

Too bad TV doesn't display his greatest talents. He appeared nude and semi-erect in some movie few people watched a few years ago. Dude is well-hung.

Wasn't he also on the show shot in Hawaii with Michael Biehn a couple years back? Summer show that was shot down in flames? Someone REALLY wants this guy to succeed; I'm wondering if he's worth the effort. He's a great character type actor (I liked him in Six Feet Under), but I just don't see him as leading man material. Maybe if he lost that quasi facial hair.

#4: I totally forgot about that one! It was a cop drama on NBC called "Hawaii," and got cancelled a month into the 2004 season.

I'll look forward to his painful departure from 24. His character is a bore.

I give that show two weeks before it's cancelled. I can't understand how he keeps getting work.
