Before Jennifer Hudson announced her hate of American Idol, Simon Cowell told Entertainment Tonight that he was one of her "main supporters" when she began on Idol. And while he may have been harsh to her at times, Simon feels he was equally nice, as well. And he's happy to take full credit for Hudson's amazing success, stating, "If it hadn't have been for Idol, she wouldn't have been picked to do Dreamgirls."
Plus, he blames the fans for voting Hudson off the show (and not the judges), but thinks Hudson should come back to Idol to "gloat" anyway.
Of course, he said that before Hudson's remarks about her "abusive" Idol experience hit the wire. I'm pretty sure the producers won't be inviting Hudson back to their show anytime soon. And if they did extend an invitation, I don't think she'd accept.

I agree. I highly doubt Idol will want her on the show anytime in the future after what she said about her experience on the show. Also, I doubt that she would want to come back on the show anyway. Lastly, I think Simon has different feelings about her now after she put down the show in diff. ways.

The thing is Jennifer Hudson has moved on and the public liked her in Dreamgirls. She is a wonderful, soulful singer that the music industry needs to hear now. I didn't like some of the comments Simon Cowell said to her about her performances on American Idol. Maybe she wasn't comfortable about being on that TV show to start with. But now, I see Jennifer for who she is now and not what she was on Idol. You can see that the movie industry loves her and I'm really looking forward to her new music album on Arista when it comes out!

I do not believe that Ms. Hudson says she "hates" AI. She is a very talented young lady and if someone from the show put in a word to the movie industry for her, then let them come forward! If not, be let them be content with the billions they are making in this country. I hope Jennifer did use Idol to further her career and I see no need for her to be grateful. Perception is reality and if Jennifer perceives that she was abused = then it is so!

Sorry...I don't think Jenifer Hundson should be too quick to dis Idol. It's not easy being a contestant on a show like that. It's stressful and disappointing, so I can understand her distaste for the show, since she did get the boot, BUT, if it weren't for Idol, who would know Jenifer Hudson, and where would her big break have come from! You can't always bite the hand that feeds you. She should keep it in perspective and see the positive aspect of Idol. It gives you exposure, if your lucky enough to get on. In this case Jenifer, the less you say about Idol, the better off you'll be.

Jennifer was a geart performer on AI. If any of you recall she was crticized emencly about her attire. If Simon and Randy want to defend themselves do a encore of the shows she was on

jennifer should take a chill pill!yeah, she might be tops now but she shouldnt forget that prides go before a fall! we ve seen so many stars come and go!if she wants to stay tops then she had better change her attitude and not bite the finger that fed her.challenging simon to a verbal fight can only reduce her popularity.
