I once met Courney Love at a court hearing in Sacramento in which she, Don Henley and a bunch of other top recording acts were advocating for artist stuck in long-term record contracts in which they were getting a raw deal.

I found her to be extremely charming, and friendly. On the other hand, I found Don Henley to be quite aloof and guarded. It is no secret that she's had significant personal problems since then, but my first impression of her was a good one. She and Don both left with a copy of my original lyrics to a song I wrote in support of their cause.

oh my lord please let this be a rumor!! The show works great with the judges it has now and when one of them is missing the show is definately lacking something. Randy, Paula and Simon have great chemistry and they make the show what it is. If that talentless hack druggie psycho bitch Courtney love comes on board i will stop watching the show cause that is the day it goes from being American Idol to America's biggest freak show!!

I really will probably stop watching idol if Courtney love becomes a judge. She has such a bad reputation,She is vulger looking and what kind of role model will she be. I hope Paula doesn't leave, she has a good heart.

I wish Courtney had her own show.I think she is the coolest and if you ever listened to "Doll Parts"or"Malibu" you'll know what I mean.She rocks and her stage presence and guitar playing ability are too often over looked.I'm hoping they make her a guest host on the Tonight Show...

I can't see Courtney Love as an American Idol Judge. Maybe Tommy Lee will give her a call for the next RockStar SuperNova. I'm hoping someone thinks of asking Jennifer Hudson to be a geust judge.

Anyone who thinks Love has any talent is on about as much drugs as she is......possibly more. It's sad that celebrity train wrecks are more popular to make stories about rather than inspiring stories. But that is what this life is all about. If she appears as a judge on Idol, just about everybody would stop watching. At least I am hoping that would be the case

Did anyone other than me think that Olivia John was the most boring "judge" ever on the show last night? And her face lift, makes her eyes glassy and scary? What happened to our beautiful Sandy?? She's not that old!!!

Oh man, if this is anything but a rumor Idol is in big trouble. To even contemplate replacing someone who has a positive outlook on life with this drugged out disgusting no talent would certainly put the show where it would belong, right in the trash along with Love. I've only seen her perform a couple times and that was plenty to let me know she is without talent. And the number of times she's been in the news certainly doesn't make me want to watch her on anything else. Idol would no longer be watched in our home.

As usual I think all rumors of Courtney Love doing anything are ridiculous. I don't see any network taking a chance on her doing any co-hosting or hosting any shows. She just keeps riding on her late-husband Kurt Cobain's legacy.....now he was TALENT.
