"Clusterfuck to the White House": Democrats continue to pursue this whole "presidency" thing. It took me a few seconds before I could actually believe that Hillary Clinton's slogan, "Let the conversation begin!", was real. That's so... Hillary. However, her joke about evil men was not so Hillary."Obamania": FOX News got a little snooty when they outed Barack Obama and said that he went to a Muslim school. And then CNN got all "fact-checky" and "investigated". Pssht. Oh, and Chuck Norris filled in for Hannity on Hannity & Colmes?! How did I miss this?
The night's guest was Bill Gates, super-billionaire and Microsoft's main man. Instead of using the usual Jon picture for my post, I picked this lovely image of young Gates. The interview was pretty good. Gates was a little slow on the uptake when Jon suddenly stopped talking about passwords and began asking about pets. Funny, though. By the way, when Gates told Jon to call him if he fails to work out the all-new Windows Vista, I had a silent little freak-out. C'mon. Being able to call Bill freakin' Gates about Windows problems is the best tech support EVER.
Jon/Stephen: Stephen Colbert's delicious cheese-torte! Moment of Zen: Ahh! Disgusting! Pelosi, keep an eye on those kids. They shouldn't be licking anything in Baltimore... and certainly not for a minute and thirty seconds. I live there. I should know.

you just know that Bill said something along the lines of "well, dag gummett, Stewarts gonna play that clip on Daily show", in a very exasperated tone.
i'm also now convinced TDS has a group of interns called "Team Fox" whose sole job is to watch Fox News.

Annie! You live in Baltimore? Okay, that's irrelevant, but hey, no mention of how quickly Bill Gates seemed to leave? Even Jon seemed suprised. And that picture is surreal, it looks absolutely nothing like Gates.

My favourite part - when (still apparently socially inept) Bill gets up and leaves when Jon is doing the close.... "wait, he's not supposed to leave!!!"

Did anyone else catch how frequently Gates' eyes looked away from Jon Stewart, to a point between JS and the camera? It's almost as if he had the points he wanted to make written up on idiot boards...

Gates looked amazingly uncomfortable, I think that's why he took off so fast. He never really seems comfortable in front of the camera, but being on the Daily Show seemed especially awkward for him.
